Hey guys, it might be an idea to check your gunners.

I think I may (or may not) have noticed two distinct but almost impossible to tell variants. Firstly there are two different stamps, these are definitely different but hard to tell at a glance. Look at the "4" in 1984. One gunner will have the 4 ending just at the start of the "F" in LFL. This is v1 just for convenience sake. The other will have the 4 almost in line with the F (v2).

EDIT: Just noticed the last pic in Chris_J's post. So the stamp bit is already known, but just wondering about this next bit.


Now here is the maybe part. Which is why i'm asking people to check.

If you have both stamps now hold them sideways. v2 will appear to have a noticeably larger nose than v1 but I believe its that v1 actually has a bigger visor on more of a slope making it look that way.

v1 also has more detailing on the device on the left side of the helmet. V2 has an obvious loss of detail.

Some v1's will have damage on their nose like a crack or split. Not sure if this is coincidence and just damaged figures or if the mold was breaking and needed repair. Iv'e only ever had one v2 and 4 v1's for reference.

Variant or just a reject figure?

Thoughts?
