Very good news. It will be at the time of the 30th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Well, not exactly, but in the neighbourhood. I hope they can make it a great anniversary of Return of the Jedi. I will definately be going.

Anyone got any idea what this might mean to a C7 in the US? I was sorta looking towards doing that in the next year or two, but if CE2 means that it might be further away than that i might have to alter my plans. Anyone got any educated guesses? I always envisaged catching up with my US based collecting friends soon, but maybe now the European ones will get a visit 1st??

| Tim,
I don't know about C7 or so, but i think CE2 will be great aswell, and this is an great opportunity to meet up with the Europe based members. I was hoping for quite awhile there would be a follow up on Celebration Europe, and always said i wouldn't miss it. Maybe you you and some other aussie members can make the trip togheter to Germany.
Anyway would be cool if some US and aussie members made it there to.
Anyway, i'm thinking off making some badges or T-shirts using the TIG logo i have created (almost same like my avatar), or something more ROTJ style to give away on CE.

Dennis, don't get me wrong, i'd love to catch up with you European guys, but this has just caught me by surprise. I was reasonably close to going to C6, but decided to save a bit more & do C7 properly & have a look around US for a bit too. The travel costs ($2-3000US) mean it's something that needs to be planned well ahead, & not something that's likely to be repeated in the near future.

No worries Tim, i know exactly how it is, wanted to go to C6 and we would probably had made it aswell if my wife wasn't pregnant, so we had some other prioriteis suddenly. Anyway i know you need to plan such trips well as they cost alot and are as you say not something you would do every year. Just saying it would be cool if some of you guys from down under could make it.
