Sorry to see this. Honestly I don't blame you to try and the police involved. I would. Let them knock on his front door. Maybe getting arrested in front of his family and neighbors will motivate him to do the right thing.

Sounds like this Kuba character is bad news. I have a Polish contact who works with law enforcenent near Warsaw. If Kuba doesn't reply to you soon, I will send him an email and have him look up Kuba and also see if he has a record. I'm sure he can get his address at home and work! Maybe he can have some officers visit him, I'm sure that would be embarrassing to have the police handcuff him in front of his family or co-workers.

Sorry to hear this has happened again. I haven't bought from Kuba in years. He was a stand up guy back then. Sad to hear that he has fallen so far. I used to keep packages w/ addresses but threw them all out when I moved so I don't have his address.

I still can't believe in this. Kuba had hard times when he didn't respond for weeks but I still hope it is just his being busy or so. We do not do such primitive things in Poland on the level Kuba achieved on the field of collecting.

Mike, I wrote to Kuba and hope he just forgot your case to death.

Regarding hard cases - darth berizing still owes me 50 $ for grey unarticulated Luke Pilot he never sent to me about two years ago... And he never respond to any of my remembering messages about it. But I am not going to send police to him. It is below my dignity...

Funny thing is you never accused Kuba for the worse thing he did - selling his complete collection to all of you. This is a crime against Poland which deserves punishment. But you try to sentence him to death for 350 $... And there was a time he was a greater source of Polish bootlegs, author of a legendary site. Meanwhile you all bought figures from such scums as Szybiak or others, giving them positive feedbacks. Paradox indeed...

Maybe you should look at who is running TIG before making up lies and not tell the truth about a person. How dare you lie about me on my forum. I was very tempted to tell you that you're just no longer welcomed here but I'm going to be the bigger man and tell you that you are welcome here. I won't however let you slag my reputation and lie. You contacted me on Ebay , asked me to please sell you this Luke. My ad said I will only ship 1st class mail with the understanding that I take no fault if it's lost. You saw it clear as day. I shipped it the next morning and provided you with proof of shipment (Customs Number showed "Accepted" at my local Post Office). I'm sorry it didn't arrive but my terms were clear. I'd NEVER ship to Poland by regular mail unless it was under those terms. I also NEVER ignored a single message from you. Everyone who knows me will attest that I reply within hours of a PM (usually less). So let me make this clear. You want to badmouth me, be my guest. But don't you EVER make up stuff about me again.

BTW - You paid March 14th at 11:58pm PST , I shipped March 15th 8:39am (Within 6 hours) and the Customs ID is LC647895246US , you can check on the USPS website to verify I sent it. I also sent it to the address you gave me on the Paypal Invoice.



Michael - I am so sorry to derail your thread with this. I didn't want to ignore it and of course wouldn't edit it out.

I am really suprised you are talking this down and mixing it with other different cases:

1) Please excluse other issues you had with other people- this thread is not a 'poland against us'. And John, completely fine that u defend yourself here. Its reay a bit strange to attack a moderator in a thread related to soneone else and not adressing him privately.

2) Kuba didnt do me any favour ever, i owe him nothing! I have bought less than ten figures in my life from him and paid full market values or above.
2) He scammed me earlier when he sold me an ultrarare 2 nd gen fett, less than 5 known. He claimed to have it sent two times and it never arrived. it took me one year and a public warning to get my money back
3) I give a shit about his website and what he has done. in the past. A thief is a thief. period
4) Its ridiculous to say he may be busy or may have forgotten. We were emailing several times a week fir a month and the last email was like: i have the item and please give me another 24 hours... That was more than 2 weeks ago. I sent him 50 mails till then. He is either dead, lost his capabipity to use the internet or id a fucking luar and thief.
5) Jacub- I completely understand that u dont want to see polish 'sellers' in the focus as you sell lots of items and dont want this to have an effect but there is no need to do so: your reputation is 100% perfect and you would never cheat on buyers.
But its different with Kuba. He seems to have a problem with truth, reliability and dignity.
6) The question of other polish sellers that u question also doesnt belong here. People will always try to get reasonable prices..

Bottom line:
I have to work hard to earn 350. I cant believe u are talking this down.. Until Kuba does not pay back and apologize he is just a thief.
I dont like the taste in Jacubs reply which sounds to me like bootleg collectors have abused poor polish sellers taking away all the goods. I can only talk for myself, but the money I sent has always besn more than welcome and noone was ever forced to sell a ree yees for 500 that he bought for a fraction on a polish auction site.

How many polish items did u sell to greedy collectors withing the last decade? 250? 500? more? You filled up several collectipns over the years didnt you? Maybe u would want to recoup the little 350 that I am out on? jakub,i to hope kuba is just to busy to reply.believe me i know what thats like.but just because your polish doesn't make you imune to being a dick.look at pablo artesi.he got countless rare gens for years and was very well respected.then when he wanted more money quickly,he just scammed people left right and center and carried it on until he was busted.then he "died" to remove himself from everybody who had called him a friend.he can't sell like he used to,but i'm sure he's still there on ebay under a new name.i know kuba took the piss last time michael had to out him for his money back and to michaels detriment,he gave him a second chance,only to be stung again.if kuba isn't trying to scam michael then he should have made extra care to make sure the deal went extra smooth,because of last time.but he hasn't.you can not blame michael for trying to get his money back.$350 or 35 cents,it's still his and kuba has took his money and ignored him.if he does contact michael,i'm sure he'll have thought of a good explantation.but he certainly is long past his high respected place in the comunity and if he wants it back,he's going to have to work at it.
if you still regard john as not fulfilling his part of a deal and still want to resolve it.maybe a p.m would have been more sensible.if you've moved on from that deal,why bring it up if somebody stole from mei would do everything in my power to ge tthe money back.if i knew i could never get the money back,i would do everything in my power to make them wish they hadn't if the police calling at there door was an option,i would definatly take it

You ask me to do my case with John in PM then you understand that Mike is doing his with Kuba in public. I wrote tens of messages to John back then, he stopped replying just when the time ended on ebay to open the case. Then, when I registered on RS I found the thread about Kuba where John mixed all the things up, ascribing to him my situation. I replied on the thread, no reply received. Even after that I am not going to call the police. Not my level of thinking. And if John thinks he did everything in that case, let him think so.

My point is: I had a situation once when I didn't get the items from Kuba. I wrote him after some time, and he sent me (after loooong time) the money back. And you call him a thief now. But when I didn't get the item from John and never didn't get the money back, you call John the trustworthy best friend. That's paradox for me. And I'm serious. Please do not tell me this is out of this topic.

My second goal is to earn for this by selling the doubles for other collectors. That is my proud, that I virtually didn't pay a cent for what I have. This is important in the country where people sometimes earn for month not much more than your 'hardly earned' 350 $.

I treated Kuba as a fellow collector, his site was made with passion, knowledge and great sense of humor. And yes, this is important for me, more important than money. Then I found out that there is no Kuba's collection at all, that all the items from his site are just virtual, sold to other collectors. That made him a trader and made me sad. Each figure you can see on my site is a real item in my collection. That's the difference.

By the way, Mike, Kuba replied today, said he will contact you soon.

That's my being naive maybe, but I never look who runs the site. Until the Joe's story started I never realized who the Philip is. If you run this forum and do not like my posts, please delete me from forum with no mercy. I don't think the community will lost much wth my departing, but I will feel comfortable not having the necessity of behaving as the owner wish. I think I feel tired a little of the big baloons of ambition, honour, proud and majesty. Where are the beautiful bootlegs on this? Fortunately - on my shelve...

Just to let u understand why i freaked out:

• He PROMISED to reply soon to all my email after I waited for ONE YEAR before he sorted out the mess
  After he disappeared already for two weeks, he PROMISED to reply in 24 hours
  Then I wrote DOZENS of mails.
  He replied TODAY 18 days later than he PROMISED.

A promise is a promise. Anywhere in the world, even in Poland....


With his history, i think its more than understandable and i doubt that he would have replied without this thread.
