I'm sure there will be a line for your panel Joe. Especially with the Star Tots giveaway.

The one complaint I have so far about CVI is the lack of information. Unless I've missed it, I don't think there is a schedule posted anywhere yet. I thought with this one being announced so far ahead of CV, that we'd have a lot more info earlier and that hasn't happened. I do usually attend most of the panels and then spend time to wander around the exhibit hall, so those are the two main places I'll be during the day anyway.

Other than that, out of what has been announced so far, I plan to take a look at the Rancho Obi-Wan experience and my wife is going to get at least one tattoo and is also considering a second.

For the evenings, I'll be at the archive party and the room sales.

The bootleg panel's going to be with John A and Ron Salvatore and me.

I will be attending as many as possible. I also agree that the lack of information is frustrating, but hopefully, a detailed schedule will be posted soon.

Mary Franklin has been teasing the schedule on Twitter, and they want everyone to get the app to get it sooner. How much sooner could it arrive? The con's right around the corner!

I will of course be there for the bootleg panel as I alway show up at that one. There's probably one or two others that I may try to attend given the opportunity. A couple of weeks away, you'd think there would be an annoucement or schedule posted.

If the hold up is that they want me to get an app in order to get information sooner, then I'm frankly not interested. I shouldn't need an app or to have to go to an exclusive website to get general information about the panels, or any other event that's happening at the con. This should be general information that's available to everyone. Especially this close to the con. Just my viewpoint.

It seems that we are all frustrated with the lack of information, but honestly. Have felt this way about the last three celebrations I have attended.
I really don't understand why they wait so long to release the information. You would think they would want to slowly release the info just to draw people in.

Anyways enough with our frustrations. I really want to go to all the panels but I know I will only make it to probablya few. I will go to the bootleg panel and any other vintage type panel they have. But I really can't say which panels ill be at until they are announced.

There is always a ton of stuff at celebration that I put on the to do list and there is never enough time in the day to do it all.

This is the first year for me that I know of the room sales so I definately want to go. Also the Rancho obi-wan is a must for me.

But I know shit changes so the only thing I know for certain is I'm gonna have fun.

The sooner this information is released the better, it's difficult to set an itinerary with nearly zero information. Is there a schematic of the show floor out there as well? I've noticed some releasing their booth number and imagine vendors have this information. I would really appreciate a PDF identifying the numbered booths and their locations.

There has been no comprehensive schedule of which I am aware. Some information has trickled out, but much of that is dependent on those involved (the 501st, for example, has gone ahead and posted its own event itinerary: http://www.501st.com/celebration/). It makes it difficult to plan for things like the Bounty Hunt (which is now full for pre-registration--those of us waiting to see when we might be free, will have to hope for a slot to open onsite) or even think about waiting in line for a "big event" since we aren't sure when or where such things may be happening...

Sorry for the rant, and I would imagine this will all come out some time this week... I know when the Archive Party will be, however, and those tickets arrived over the weekend!

I'd love to see a schedule, but it's not totally necessary either. I'll try and hit a few panels, the bootleg panel being one of them. I'm mostly interested in wandering around aimless on the convention floor, the artist area, tattoo area and hanging out with friends and fellow collectors. It's going to be a great show!

We should have an announcement on the final schedule soon. Sorry for the delay guys. Once I have it and get the go ahead, I'll release it.

I'll be at all the panels again, and will be taping them. They'll all go up on the SWCA eventually. My biggest concern is the Social Area presentations, as I can't be in two places at once.

I was surprised by the number of repeats in this convention's collecting program. And also the number of odd-ball choices. I kinda wish there were more I was interested in.

I only count 20 if I throw in the swap meet and "awards ceremony." Will they really be giving away a Star Tot at the swap meet? Or maybe I just missed one.

So out of the list, what is considered a panel or a get together? The list has more than 20. I am not looking to collect a set of all 20 Star Tots, just a few Jawas.

From that list I'm going to try and make the bootleg, Nordic, international and possibly the display panels.

Any hints about the bootleg topic Joe?
