| I decided to collect Stormtrooper cardbacks as it is one of the few characters to be found on nearly all types of cardback. Besides, who doesn't like Stormtroopers? (OK, the Rebel Alliance ) As much as I would like to have focused on a moc collection, cardbacks have the advantage of being far cheaper and they take up a fraction of the space. I've got a long way to go, but I'm enjoying the chase, and it gives me an added interest. 12B 45A 45B 45C 65D NEW 70B with alternate photo & Clipper catalogue. 70C US12A 32A 41A 47A 48A ('Action Figures' on second line) 77A Canada41B. The tape damage to the front & back is the result of it coming from a multipack. Japan12B with Takara sticker.

| Great choice of character, so many card backs to keep chasing. Will you be going for even the slightest differences? ie factory codes, made in China etc. |

| Cheers AJ. At the moment I'm concentrating on the major variants, but I may go for coo & factory code variants later on. I've noticed with some my Palitoy duplicates, that they came with different sizes / types of bubble. |

| Thanks Andy. It was about 2 years ago that I initially set out to get an example of a SW, ESB & ROTJ Stormie card, most of the others were acquired over the last 12 months. |

| wow that's a great run of Stormie cardbacks Steve, congratulations mate I'd like to do this with Vader at some point, problem is some of em get very pricey, like a GDE/Meccano, or Harbert etc... I have made a very small start with a Top Toys Vader card though All the best of luck in finding the remaining cards mate |

| Thanks Chris. With regards to building a Vader cardback focus, I'd say go for it. Although some cardbacks can be expensive, with patience & a bit of effort there are still some bargains to be had. We'll just have to avoid chasing proof cards. |

| What an awesome start to a focus! And it shouldn't take up too much space, right?
Any update? |
