| Very Nice addition, thanks! Those mask are amazing! Don't know anything about them, if they are hard to found now, would live to have a wicket or ackbar at home! And the poch is very Nice too. I knew this picture from boba from other Adds in Europe but not the ig8. I think they both looks very cool with this point Of vew from the feets and this light. I think there are few otther like That from adds like dengar, han solo hoth, Luke bespin. Thanks |

| What is pif magazine? Looks like a cool magazine for kids to be able to make practical stuff with household objects.
John, I wouldn't have it professionally framed, but I bet that would look cool if you could find a frame for it to display it like that. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Thanks Paul. Looks like a neat publication. Neat that it can be traced back to what was probably an anti nazi publication. _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Hi Dieter, thanks for adding them. Those Harberts are superb, especially the one showing the mock ups, but also a lot of good work went into the diorama photography of the others. The French one is great too, interesting that it shows two Jawas together - one vinyl and one cloth cape. Thanks for sharing _________________________________________________ Paul F,

One of my fave threads here Hi Paul, are you still working on that ad project? Hope to get some new Palis soon. For now here's a Belgium ad for the Action Display stand. Belgium. Tintin N° 27. 1982. _________________________________________________ Paul F,

| Here are two vintage ads for the UK Force Beam, distributed by Loydale. I noticed yours is distributed by Jack A. Levin and Assoc. Ist ad is mine, 2nd Stef's. Both from 1978. Love the cheesy artwork on these Pictures and info taken from this thread: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t7630-newbie-1977-christmas-memory-light-saber-toy _________________________________________________ Bryan

| Not strictly Star Wars but definitely Star Wars inspired. John Menzies ad in the UK comic Cheeky Weekly dated November 18th 1978. The headline font is certainly mimicking that of Star Wars and the placement of the first three games reminds me of the receding text. |

That's a really cool ad. I keep looking out for John Menzies Star Wars ads but haven't seen any yet - considering they did a fair few SW offers. I remember the local shop by us always had some SW stuff. Also remember the Cheeky comic - It had the character in it called Lily Pop (a sexy lollipop lady, you can just see her on the facing page of your ad) and a guy popping his head out of a manhole cover to say oi! (I think). JM was a very popular shop where we lived, and I easily get nostalgic seeing the logo. Looking at your ad they had some good price reductions on those games. And 7" records for 75p _________________________________________________ Paul F,

Pif Gadget No 1027. 1988. US. ROTJ Death Star Battle. Parker Brothers. Alpha Flight No 4. 1983. _________________________________________________ Paul F,

| Paul what a Stella thread you have assembled, there's nothing like pouring through the old adverts to bringing back the memories and getting yourself pumped to buy something! Thanks to everyone who took the time to help out as it is really cool to see all the little variations. |
