Paul, The seller had all 6 for sale when I got this one. The Gamorrean Guard must be the hardest to find of the 6, because the it went for 6 times the price of the others.

I was sending across an article for the 'Chive Cast about the Aussie Commonwealth banks, and found some interesting history HERE that includes the Darth Vader version. Like a lot of companies back then, they wanted to latch onto the Star Wars fever of the day to promote their product to kids - in this case young savers.

Darth Vader bank produced in Mexico by Vinilos Romay (unknown year). Looks like the company is still active in Mexico City, but I can't really find any English language information. By the looks of it though, they were really into producing these types of plastic character banks. They also an R2 (I have 2 on the way from the seller of the Vader) and a Yoda. This guy has become a labor of love as I work to restore him. I know "restore" can be a dirty word in this hobby, but all I'm using is soap, water, and vegetable oil along with a lot of gentle scraping.

Here is the full set of Vinilos Romay banks that were given as a premium for opening a savings account at Ahorro Bancomer. They have a unique "key" to unlock the bottom plug. Pictures of the plug and keys can be seen in the above pictures of the Vader bank. The key is made up of two prongs which insert into the holes in the plug to turn and unlock it.
