Hello my star wars peeps,


ive always been a fan of star wars and had some of the vintage figures as a kid. but when i went to see episode 1 in 3-d it sparked something inside me, so i decided to buy two of my most favorite figures as a kid and those two are GREEDO & BOBA FETT. then i just couldnt get enough lol so im gonna continue collecting the vintage line and i want to share it with people who will appreciate it. so heres a couple of pics of what i have so far.

well done mate, great to see you gettin started on the loose stuff, its a real happy time collecting your loose set, it took me about 3 or 4 years to get every piece, i love your collection so far, i will give you a lil tip, if you see the POTF figs at a good price grab em early instead of paying more later for them, dont be shy to be on the hunt for your blue snag n yak now, cause if you try to pick them up later in a few weeks you could pay overs for them, i left them for last n got them for xmas pressies of my lady and i paid a bit over for em..
mate when you get all those in a nice glass cabinet they will look the bomb, cheers mate n happy hunting

as far as potf im trying to get the snowtrooper luke and vintage blue snag w/ toe dent and a yak. they are just really expensive, especially on EBAY but i guess i should concentrate on those just to get them out the way. what you think their actual current value is????? just so i could have an idea and dont over pay too much for them.

, a Yak & Blue Snaggletooth can be found for $100 each (less if you are not too worried about condition)

100 each for yak and blue snag is a great deal, but on ebay its never the case lol yes and as far as Luke Stormtrooper helmets being fake is it hard to tell on a pic? i have to do more research to get better at seeing the difference between real and repro.

You need to be more patient ( PGowdy has like 20 Yaks almost all from ebay and from memory pays $50-$70 each for them)

Looks great so far! Starting off with a Fett and a Greedo is a nice way to kick off a collection. Good luck with future acquisitions!

i got my blue snag from brians toys for about 130, its in great nick but i paid $20 bucks over for it imo, and i paid about 140 for my mint yak from a private ebay seller, so i paid abit over for that aswell, but as i said i left them till last, and i just wanted them there n then for xmas one year, if you can get em for around 100 that would be great, but i dont mind payin a bit more for nice examples of them.
if i had looked out for them way earlier in the piece i would have gotten them a bit cheaper, but they are great pieces n imo they are a total must for a loose collection, im sure you might be able to pick them up here or over at RS for a good price.
i did notice brians toys had a poor quality blue snag for $79 bucks the other day, but i think that you should wait for a good model like a c7 or c8..
but yes keep your eye out for all the POTF early, and jump on them when you see a really good deal, cheers if i see any around cheap i'll let you know....

Just got this Trilogo/Palitoy No COO Small letter Gmfgi 1977 Vintage Chewbacca with Translucent blue bowcaster. Seller said it was a European, also said its the same coo as the Ledy chewy. Well if anyone can give me info on this fig I'd appreciate it. I love the condition of the figure but one leg is a bit longer than the other so it makes it hard to stand on its own.

The coo is the same fonts, but the Lili-Ledy Chewbacca is darker and have a completely black bowcaster.

Concerning one leg being a bit longer than the others, same thing with my Imperial Dignitary and one of my Rebel Commander figures. Before I got stands, I fixed it by using a bit of gaffa tape under the foot of the shorter leg.

Quite a nice start! You have some high dollar pieces already knocked out of the way, so the rest of your loose set should move along very well.

Thanks Haha yeah it's been crazy. Think I need to come up for a breather lol. Seem to have gotten a little sidetracked with the variations coming into play, but now I'm going to try and concentrate on finishing a complete loose set.

Very nice collection and some fun displaying going on Love that last pic with 3PO inside the organ. Is Droopy trying to play C3PO's arm or eat it?
