| The TIG Exam RoomPlease welcome the next TIG victim who has bravely agreed to take the probe ...
A new guy so tight getting the probe inserted was a real fight TEST SUBJECT # 28Screen Name: bedheadjulian Real Name: Julian Location: Amsterdam Special Powers: The ability to mess myself up ... and live Greetings Julian , thank you for your cooperation , let the probing begin .... #1 What is your favorite SW memory ? (film or toy line)There was a wooden fence beside our town-house when I was a kid and I used to wiggle one post loose and pull it out. I'd use the hole as a trap to have my figures fall into. Hey , I was 6 ... a hole in the ground was very exciting FX-7 Edit :Hole's are always exciting , you never know what treasures you will find at the bottom #2 Which SW character would you dress up as if you were attending a convention ?Oh , I dunno ... Probably as slave Leia Just because I like to make people laugh and a dude with a beard in space lingerie is pretty funny FX-7 Edit :sounds super sexy #3 Describe your collection in 50 words or less !Becoming more Fettish-istic . FX-7 Edit :nothing wrong with a Boba Fett-ish ...
#4 If you had to choose 3 things from your collection as your favorites , what would they be and why ?
The first would be a very modest one - I have a Rebel Soldier that is pretty uninteresting other than the fact that I had torn his head off and my Mom glued it back on for me ... 30 years later it's still holding firm The second would be my Millennium Falcon that my Dad helped me Paint (all the lights and blinkers) and still looks pretty good . The third would be the Hammerhead I got from my Mom after falling off the swings at the playground and splitting my lip . My Mom gave it to me as consolation (Seeing a theme here , no ? )
FX-7 Edit :
here's a link to Julian's collection ...
http://julianusmaximus.wix.com/pillow-of-the-gods
#5 What song would you perform at a Karaoke ?
Well , I can't sing worth a damn , so I'd just go with Sinatra 'cause he never goes outside of the base tones
FX-7 Edit :
a little Karaoke Sinatra would be cool ...
as long as you have a good backing band
#6 What’s the weirdest/most fun SW item in your collection ?
The 12" Luke I have has mangled feet beneath those boots (yes, I chewed them as a child )
FX-7 Edit :
Julian chewed on many things he shouldn't have
#7 Which SW characters , creatures , vehicles or play sets would you like to have seen released that was never released during the vintage line ?
Garindan
FX-7 Edit :
a cool Garindan custom ...
#8 Flyboy question ! You have the chance to fly or drive one of Kenner's ships or mini rigs that has been made into a real full-scale working vehicle ... Which vehicle do you choose and why ?
Speederbike ... I'm a Biker , so the choice is a no-brainer
FX-7 Edit :
#9 Other than Star Wars , what other toy lines do you collect ?
I've got a couple of McFarlane Spideys
FX-7 Edit :
The McFarlane art era of the Spiderman comic series was awesome
#10 Do you have any other hobbies, and what are they ?
Roadtips on the Motorcycle with my gal , trying to figure out if there are Aliens , studying Zen Buddhism (Alan Watts is a cool place to start if you've never had the pleasure) , Beer , fixing engines , reading Quantum theory and sleeping .
FX-7 Edit :
Zen Buddhism ? practiced by Aliens
Beer ? created by aliens
mechanic's ? all the best ones are alien
Quantum Theory ?
Batman ? Yes ... another alien
FX-7 opinion ? Yes aliens exist ... what do you think , Star Wars was just a movie ?!?
that's all the proof you need
This concludes your probe - Excellent answers Julian
Thank you for your participation
Please collect your complimentary First Aid Kit as you exit ...
with your history of self abuse you are going to need it
Now get the hell out of my exam room and send the next victim , er ... Patient in |

| These are awesome. I missed this thread all this time because I thought it was another thread someone had started before about taking an FX-7 apart to see what it looked like inside. I wondered why you guys were still discussing a broken FX-7 figure. LOL |

| The TIG Exam RoomPlease welcome the next TIG victim who has bravely agreed to take the probe ...
This Canadian Hulk was a difficult catch but , for our special green probe , he wasn't a match TEST SUBJECT # 29Screen Name: Kisstour03 Real Name: Paul Location: Canada Special Powers: Able to spot Leia's Yub Nub from miles away Greetings Paul , thank you for your cooperation , let the probing begin .... #1 What is your favorite SW memory ? (film or toy line)I'd say favorite movie related memory would have to be going to see all three Original Trilogy films in their first run with my brother. We didn't do a lot together because he's a lot older than I am so it was special for me. I was only about 3 years old when Star Wars came out but he took me anyway - I recall standing in line at the old Paramount Theatre in Uptown Saint John and looking at the poster waiting to go in Favorite toy related memory is a funny one - I used to take an empty Betty Crocker frosting container and fill it with water , then put a Han Solo figure in it and put it in the freezer. When the water was hard enough I'd pull out the ice block and use it as Han in Carbonite. I'd put the block back in the freezer so it wouldn't melt - when my sister would open the freezer to get something and she'd yell "What the f#&k!!! MOM!!!! He's got Han Solo in the freezer again!!!" She loves to tell this story and she still loves me even though I drove her nuts and I'm the favorite child FX-7 Edit :#2 Which SW character would you dress up as if you were attending a convention ?Not a very creative choice but I'd have to say a Stormtrooper ... or a Cylon I'll tell everyone I'm a Stormtrooper just to make the over anal fanboys heads explode ... I'm a dick that way and love to yank their chains FX-7 Edit :Yes - Cylon's are wayyyyy cooler than Stormtroopers ... screw the fanboys (oooops , did I just say that out loud )#3 Describe your Star Wars collection in 50 words or less !Awesomeness from a Galaxy far far away. A source of enjoyment and confusion all at once - enjoyment because I love Star Wars and confusion because I never know what I want to collect ... so I dabble in a bit of it all #4 If you had to choose 3 things from any of your collections as your favorites , what would they be and why ?Tough call Let me go look... amuse yourselves for a minute..... still looking................. so many things I love..... Sorry had to stop and play with the cat... Here are my picks : 1. From my Star Wars display I'd have to say my Landspeeder. It's a simple common choice but I loved the one I had when I was a kid. It got loved to pieces literally and I was so happy to get another a few years ago. 2. My 12" Mego Incredible Hulk I still have from when I was a kid. He's still in pretty good shape and has been with me for 31 years or so. Be it in a toybox or displayed on a shelf, Hulk has been there to see it all. The good, the bad and sad and everything in between. I used to come home from a crappy day at school because of some dork bully and Hulk was waiting to go on another adventure. He's my favorite toy of all time. 3. I have an animation cell of Captain Americas arms that was used in the opening credits of the 1966 Marvel Superheroes cartoon. I love it because it's a unique piece and I loved that cartoon when I was a kid. FX-7 Edit :here's a link to Paul's awesome eclectic collection ...http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t6468-collection-room-finally-done-pic-heavy #5 What song would you perform at a Karaoke ?Love Gun by KISS... It's my favorite song ever . I actually know all the words... Which is a big thing for me It's a running joke that I don't know a complete song from start to finish What can I say , I have a bad ear for it and I can't sing for shit FX-7 Edit :You've pulled the trigger of myyyyy ... Love Gunnnnn , Lu-u-uvvv Gunnnn Check out this cool thread to see how Paul spent his 11th Wedding Anniversary...http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t6129-kiss-concert-2013 #6 What’s the weirdest/most fun SW item in your collection ?WOW that's a hard one... Hmmmmm .... Nothing really weird since I sold off most of my bootlegs and they're all fun because they're toys. Everyone loves the stuffed Super Grover I have in my room and , when they pick him up , everyone laughs... so I guess Super Grover , just based on reaction by others. The Homer Simpson cardboard standee I have also gets lots of attention when we have parties... I think he's even gotten laid a few times FX-7 Edit :Homer always gets the sexy ladies...
#7 Which SW characters , creatures , vehicles or play sets would you like to have seen released that was never released during the vintage line ?Character - I always wanted figures of the creatures from the board game R2 and Chewie play. FX-7 Edit :Vehicle - The medical frigate at the end of ESB - I always thought it was a neat looking ship FX-7 Edit :This one ?Play set- Jabbas Throne Room. Marco (Dr Dengar) has a very cool one ...and here's a link to another great setup...http://www.niubniubsuniverse.com/visitorMaking/beaulieu/Jabba01.asp #8 Flyboy question ! You have the chance to fly or drive one of Kenner's ships or mini rigs that has been made into a real full-scale working vehicle ... Which vehicle do you choose and why ?Hmmm... I have to be weird and say The Imperial Troop Transport - my all time favorite vehicle , even more than the above mentioned Landspeeder. The Troop Transport would have been said above but I don't own one - I can't win one on Evilbay to save my life FX-7 Edit :#9 Other than Star Wars , what other toy lines do you collect ?I think "Yes" would be a shorter answer I'll collect just about any toy that I think is cool , I have a short attention span and love variety. Although it's not really a line of toys , I collect anything with Hulk on it or anything Marvel or DC related that I think looks cool. Lately I'm drawn to any vintage figures from the 70s through late 80s. One of these days I'll have to indulge my desire to collect old Marx toy soldiers, cavemen, cowboys and Indians, astronauts etc etc. FX-7 Edit :Coming up on next weeks episode of Hoarders ...Paul's collecting habits are questioned #10 Do you have any other hobbies, and what are they ?I enjoy long walks on the beach and writing poetry when I'm not busy developing new ways to combat world hunger...............oh wait that's my old dating site profile... Sorry lost focus there. FX-7 Edit :a truly sensitive soul he is ...My No. 1 hobby is comic collecting and reading them. Watching old sci-fi and horror movies is another passion I have - the cheesier the better. Shooting skeet and trap is another hobby I'm really bad at but love a lot. Does driving my wife nuts count as a hobby??? FX-7 Edit :PULL !!!and yes , driving your wife nuts counts as a hobby **Special IG-88 Edit**
10 questions and I wasn't mentioned 1 time
Do you still love me Paul ?
Don't you remember all the good times we had This concludes your probe - Excellent answers Paul
