| I agree with Lee, I've also said it before. No matter how bad you see your old guide at it's still a huge reference that's being used here, on other forums, on ebay/auction sites, pms, emails it's everywhere. No matter if some stuff are wrong it, it's still is a great piece of work and the only real guide out there. I can't honestly imagine being without it.

| Well said Lee. Theres nothing like the COO guide out there. I got the page bookmarked not only for the FOTW threads, but to go back and look through it from time to time. There was alot of hard earned time put into the original, that no one can touch. As far as I know of, its a first of its kind and thats why its so valuable today even if there are mistakes in there and some items missing.
Wolff, I get what you mean, bud, but the reason why I said what I did is cause this guide is your brain child. It just wouldnt be right if someone else would start doing one. That would be like me taking your idea of the guide and doing it myself and claiming it as my own. I dont play by those rules. I dont use someone elses ideas for my own gains. Now if I came to you and asked if it would be ok, and you said sure, then yhea, I might think about trying it on. But until then, you, Lee, Mirco, and whoever else you got working with you on it, the guide is yours to do what you want to do with it. You asked for opinions, so Im giving you mine. We respect each other enough after the years we've known each other to be able to say what we think to each other. And thats what I think about it. Work on the new one when you can and when you feel like its good enough to put out there, then do it. And the new version is already looking kick ass. |

EDIT: I must just say that, although my name has been mentioned in some of the posts, i never had any input certainly on Wolff's original guide and probably very minimum on the second guide as far as pictures etc goes. I have been there to help/confirm/deny/check some figures and always for moral support (i hope) Do not underestimate your "help" in that guide! Speaking alone of the no coo DSC that you finally discovered I already thought it must wouldnt exist! You know we always helped each other to keep on going and going! Plus given for you tremendous post! Thank you my friend! The probelm on the new template is how to get things sorted! THE PROBLEM: There is a) mold familys and b)coo differences plus altered coos (like expalined on the Luke) Now I need to split these in rows and columns! The probelm is....no matter what I choose as row...or what I choose as column....it will result in a lot of odd looking sheet (thinking of only one mold family.....or a long history in altering...) So the new temoplate is just....how do I put this.....not really accomplishable |

| Missed the other posts....like the cheerleaders Chris.....the "new" template (that is shown on my example pictures) is now the old one........doesnt work anymore! So the question is: Do I release an unfinsihed coo guide #2 before I start #3??? Coo guide #2 isnt fiished like it should be.....but its not working for me anymore......so throw it into the bin. The coo guide #3 isnt figured out yet....I have no solution how to do it proper! So question remains....release #2 as it is....or wait till #3 will appear (which will force me to redo anything!!!!!! |

I made one for you, based upon your COO guide for Boba Fett. |

| Is there more (new entrys) in #2 compared to #1? If there is, you could use it as an updated version until you got to finish #3. That way, you wont feel so pressured to hurry up and do the new one and be able to work on it at your leisure until its the way you want it to be. Like others said, they would like to see a new updated version of it, so if #2 is updated with some new entrys, it will work until #3 is done. |

| Hi Wolff, it woul be great to see your COO Guide 2.0 regardless of not being as complete as you wanted it to be. In my opinion the old guide was/is great so #2 with more than 200 or even 300 additional coos would be awesome. I Think the community would appreciate the release of a new guide. Maybe some day you will have the time to make a #3 which has all the descriptions you wanted to include. Cheers Patrick |

| After reading through the posts on the COO guide 2.0. I have to agree with everyone. Those of us that use the old guide, find it invaluable. I wouldn't have half the collection I have without your hard work. My vote is that you upload what you have finished and come back to it when you have the time! |

| Excellent resource Wolff. It has come on a long way since I checked it out yesterday. I for one greatly appreciate you sharing this valuable information. It will certainly prove very useful as I expand my own collection. |

| Wolff - I think your CoO guide is amazing, and the work you have already put into it is staggering. PLEASE don't hesitate to contact me if I can help you with anything you need. Your work is just an absolutely incredible resource, so if there is anything you possibly need from me, consider anything I have in my collection as open access to your database.
