| The 2012 Goals thread and Joe's Trilogo collectors thread got me thinking on a parallel topic since I've really enjoyed adding some vintage figures to my collection in the past year. Being Canadian myself, it made sense to focus on Kenner Canada figures. But are there any others out there interested in some Canadian flair? |

| I'm not a big fan of all the Kenner Canada Figs, I'm always on the lookout for the 12bk GDE and Sticker Transition lines. I also like special offers in French. Basically anything that screams "These are not from the US" |

| I've got one canadian in my LJ focus so far shown below. I'm also on the lookout for a 65 back with the Nien Nunb offer, but haven't seen one for sale in quite some time. |

| i remember seeing the vintage original toys at the following stores when i was young.
Peoples
Woolworth
both of these companies are gone i believe. I may have seen some vintage stuff in the 1980's at zellers but it was just beginning to expand in our region so i am not sure.
Now Zellers is the Hasbro distributor for target's exclusive's in canada. I got some nice 3 packs , the landspeeder and tauntaun exclusive from the 2 stores in town. But sdaly they have dumped the single carded vintage figure which makes no sense to me.
the only store in town that are vintage is Toy r us and wallmart. Both Walmart in my town sucks for vintage, they order maybe a case every 3 months and they are stuck on older waves and on pegwarmers. Toys r us is not much better. They do get new stock from time to time but they also order a ton of pegwarmers and the stuff that sells they dont reo-order enough of it.
well thats it i guess for what is in my town. |

I couldn't agree more, they are certainly highlights of the line for Canadian collectors |

| That GDE 3PO is just freakin' awesome. I'm liking the Fett too, that offer sticker is just so perfect for that image. That Klaatu Skiff Guard is the last 65B I need, but I'm trying to avoid paying more than $100 for it. Maybe I'm just being stubborn. - soren wrote:

I agree! I used to dislike the price tags, but now it feels like they add a little more history and background, which gives them more character. |
