lol Marco, have you been taking those dual-reality tablets again? The backdrops are great, I was wondering if they came from that Mexiacn book you picked up with the Ledy lot a few months ago?? If not where did you get the pics? The Leia against that background looks cool! Oh, and great Ledy figs too btw ! I'll post up a picture in a while in honour of your cool backdrop |

Good, that your wife is connected to Star Wars, even if just because of the ewoks. I couldn't find a woman so far who could just accept this hobby, not to mention liking it... :-( Well, some can accept, but that's not good enough.
In that case I would suggest you join us at the FACTS convention in Ghent next year. These pics were taken there just one week ago. http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t3112p45-facts-convention-invite - Artoo_Detour wrote:

I'll post up a picture in a while in honour of your cool backdrop Thanks Paul, finally someone who found the little Easter egg! And yes I am on medication again. The backdrops came from the Ralph McQuarrie portfolio. Nice Lumat and perpect backdrop (where from?), Paul!!! You are planning to collect more Ledy figures? Bud: Sweet 8' R2!! |

| Nice stuff everyone!! That DT Luke and Snag loog great. Nice find, I'm jealous. My weekend hunt will continue tomorrow! Today I picked up this lot for $50 locally. Everything is complete but the Leia, plus you can't ever own too many accessories. Nothing spectacular, but I needed everything (in the condition I desire). |

| Some Ebay pick ups. When I got them I gave a double thumbs up because of the oddness of them which wasn't in the description. Leia has a BLUE blaster and Ben has a unpainted hand.[img] [/img][img] [/img] [img] [/img][img] [/img] |

| MOC factory errors are awesome, I've always prefered the alternate back Ben. |

| Tim: As already said in the other thread, what a great score!!!! Well deserved after spending so much time digging through many ebay listings. Michael: A nice lot of minty figures. Even the horns of the Gam Guard don't show any paint chips. Robbie: Two nice MOCs which came with two neat surprises. Great stuff. |

| Marco - cool LJ moulded face, and v nice background choice Need to replace my nose-rub Hong Kong LJ soon with a nice moulded face version. Is yours the snap cape? Cheers, the background I used for Lumat, btw, was the cover of ROTJ annual 1983 |

| the x-wing luke i bought has arrived. pretty good shape, better than 99.9% of the ones i have seen on ebay since i started to get into vintage 4 months ago. this is one the best copy i could find besides another one i lost. He has a case of a dirty face which i was able to mostly clean of, he has a red micro dot over the lips. and the rest of the paint job is "very" decent considering what i have seen so far even from the big star wars sellers on ebay. just a little tad missing on the black butt strap, and a little creamish colored helmet, he came with a blue blaster...i would say this might be a luke from the ROTJ release era, made in honk kong... why these got the Tintin looking eyes...i do not know...

| This thread moves faster then the facebook ticker . So just have time to point out Robbies two moc's . I love miscards and erro stuff , so it's nice to see. Had some flue symtoms this morning , so i stayed home from work . Had a box waiting from Chris J at the post office . So i went and picked it up , and got some fresh air on the way . The two moc's are from Chris . The IPC proof i got some days ago . I have had it on my list of "one day things" . And just found it cheap 75$ shiped under the normal prices The weapons and the stickers are from a trade with my danish friend Claus . The color ones look like bootlegs . Mis speled and badly drawn . Just of a some of the first 1977 posters . I can remember having the R2 one as a kid here in denmark . Any one have info on them ? |

| Very nice pick up guys. They are all fantastic.
Soren, those stickers (listed as decals) are made by Fun Products Intl. UK. and you got the full set. And they are from around the time of the first movie. Nice score, mate. |

| Hi Marco, congratulations with that Luke Jedi with moulded face Hi budspencer, I love that Luke X-Wing figure. Sorry I do not know much about that Tintin look. Hi Tim, very cool Yak Face, I have talked with the mail and you don't get the box with figures Sorry mate, I hope you get the box with figures very soon, so we can see some more pictures of it. Hi søren, cool items you have received there mate, the stickers look like something from marvel comics. They look cool :-) I also love the proof and the moc. Congratulation mate |

| this is what i mean by "Tintin eyes or look" It will jump in your face right away when you see the figure for the first time if you read the books. The resemblance is a bit uncanny... it's like tintin ended up in an x-wing suit. |
