| So I filed a dispute- item not received just before the 45 days ran out. I then had 10 days (or something like that) to escalate or cancel the claim. Seller provided a tracking number on a site with no English translation. But it has been 8 weeks & no updates on the delivery of my item. So I escalated the claim on the last day.
Now it says ' awaiting other party's response ' then ' requiring your action ' it's says to add files to support my claim- WTF what files ?????
"Status Please provide some supporting documentation for this claim by 22 Oct 2011.
What happens next
Once we receive your information, we'll continue our review of this case. If we don't hear from you, your case will be closed"
that's 2moro!!!!!!!!
HELP PLEASE
edit: I think I have worked it out. I just replied to an email from Paypal & I think I have to wait for the seller to respond? |

| The way they got the dispute page set up now its hard to figure out whats going on. I lost one case because I couldnt figure it out awhile back. It seems more sellers are starting to get flakey on Ebay. I had 2 in the last month and I know of someone else dealing with some now. But the only info I had to provide was the little statement on whats wrong when you open the dispute. Any other info would be required when the sleer responds back. Thats how I lost the case cause I couldnt figure out where or how to leave one. |

| Yeah, i think you're on the right track AJ. Should be just a formality for you now, if the tracking doesn't say it reached you. |

Nice to hear you got your item in the end. And respect for paying him again, i bet there would be many people who just keep the item and the money. I as a seller got screwed by EBAY because now ebay/ paypal is is requiring the item to be there in 20 days- which in many parts of the word is almost unrealistic . Sellers and BUyers can make mistakes but unfair we are beholden to postal errors or mistakes or delays. AS one who believes most are truthful, and try to be a great seller- I have been now taken for over $800 by paypal because buyers who know how to game the system will always win and get there item for free- just wait 20 days-- is you font have it with or without a tracking # its yours for free. yep thats the facts so go ahead people screw sellers. Oh and now it also appears form the US it HAS TO BE SIGNED FOR TOO. its not even enough that it arrived. so GO AHEAD WORLD SCREW ALL THE SELLERS OVER- I am about ready to dump PAYPAL and am very IRATE with EBAY. they pressure to ship reasonably priced- and allow buyers to penalize us thru declining any seller discounts with SHIPPING FEE DSR ratings so we get screwed us at the same time . oh and then the NEG FB- guess there now will be no presents under our tree in the house- Thanks ebay Im negative $322 in my paypal account |

p[ paypal and ebay are conviently set up for one hand to wash the other in terms of disputes. I have no idea. when it changed but its now 21 days.. you have to make sure items arrive in 21 Days I am now turning to the darkside on Paypal Ebay and will preach the gospel how to rip off sellers... until something is changed. if the item does not arrive in 21 bend over an well your screwed.. |

PAYPAL guidelines are item not received in 21 days... that is.. So go ahead buyers start ripping off your buyers even if they provide a tracking #. I even had to call Ebay and request MY FVF on the transactions- I was even denied these. the thing is this guy requested cheap shipping he had no more money-- so I obliged.. My mistake and out 3 valuable figures and now -neg bal so no Xmas this year... |
