the placement of the sticker suggest that could have been shifted and the sticker was a cheaper solution. maybe the sam could have happend with the tri one.

My trilogo box has "Fabriqué au Mexique" printed on the front side (right bottom corner). "Made in Mexico" is printed on the back side.
Interestingly Emiel's Tri box has "Made in England". So there are at least two different versions of the Trilogo Rancor box (and maybe the Rancor [COO] and the contents also differ). Joe: any ideas about this?
At least it seems that not all Rancors were made in Mexico.
I try to make some pics in the weekend.

I have a Rancor wich was MISB when i brought it in a old toy shop . So i'm the first owner . The tape was all dryed up and comming off so it was ok for me to open it .
It's a Trilogo MIM printet on the box . There is no CCC on it but it says GMFI 1984 Kenner Ohio ( or produckts )on the arm pit .
And mine has the Swedish sticker on the box aswell

I am not too much on Kenner stuff, but i am almost sure that the production of the Rancor Monster begun somewhere in the Far-East (maybe Taiwan). Then the production was transfered to the new mexican plant (1984). The stricker surly cover the former production location. It's up to you to try and peel the sticker and bring us this info....
