| I have already posted about how I have been buying loose lots on ebay to complete a set, well, after buying and splitting a mere 8 lots with a buddy of mine, I was able to get 76 of 77 original figures with weapons. The ONLY single I bought was a Hoth Leia, because I accidentally gave that one up in a split thinking I had one already. The awesome news is that in these lots I picked up a decent Blue snaggletooth, and a VC Jawa. The cape is torn, but for the 3 bucks it cost me in the lot, I am more than happy with him for now. Its not a super great collection, just a loose set, but I am starting to get into this variant hunting, so who knows what it will turn in to! I have just broke the $600 mark, so I think I am doing OK, especially since I am halfway through the PotF (still waiting on a few to come in) and sitting on about 200 extra figures right now (40-50 complete)! Sideshow 1/4 scale Creature from the Black Lagoon Creature hand casting Sideshow 1/4 scale Dagobah Luke (excl.)\ My Audrey 2 My Ibanez Iceman Autographed by J. from White Zombie w/ a tour used guitar pick! My ESB cast Vader helmet ( I am a Vader in the 501st Legion) Free display cabinet! I knocked the crappy weaved thing out the door, picked up glass today to redo the bottom as a display section as well My Autograph project: So Far Fisher and mayhew, looking to get Hamill next month, Prowse soon after and the rest at CVI! Me in my sandtrooper gear Me as Vader showing the Last Son of Krypton whats up! The wife and I at Dragon*con |

| Tim, welcome to TIG That loose set is looking great. I'd be happy with that torn VCJ too - he looks kinda battle damaged anyway. Great SW costumes! And the Ibanez is soooo cool Do you play? Is that a Ms Pac-Man arcade I spotted by the cabinet? Great limelight man! Congrats. |

| Hi Tim
The collection is coming along nicely and I would be pretty stoked with that VCJ so early on in the focus. Torn or not it still a VJC and like Paul, A bit of battle damage would be fine to me too is if meant I could have one.
I like all the other cool stuff you have too like the Gaming Machine - must really cool dropping in a few coins and getting to play a retro arcade in your own house next to your coll figures.
Nice stuff! |

| Thanks guys!
The Ms. Pac-Man has been mine since I was 10 years old (back in old 1987!). My uncle picked it up somewhere and gave it to me. I cant tell you how many hours I spent playing that thing.
The Iceman was bought with the intention of learning to play it. Unfortunately its now signed and I am afraid to take it off the wall, haha. I am currently looking into another one though.
The VC Jawa is awesome. I have no idea what its actual value is since its torn, but I treat it as a $200 figure. Its got the original weapon with no bump also. I am considering afa grading it just so its authenticated for when the day comes that I upgrade him. That wont be for awhile though, I am hunting a DT Luke first! |
