Just going thru some old stuff and found I have a Jabba with no coo and a much yellower body.
any clues anyone-- ?? where he' s from ?? I don't think its Ledy, Is is Meccano?

Everything is possible even production errors: short/poor shot, cooling error etc....


BTW: Ledy has HK on the jabba itself!

and the more yellow body is probably discoloration!

When you say the body is much yellower... Can I confirm that you just mean the harder plastic lower half of Jabba is yellow and the softer head part is in the normal colour?

It would be great to see some photos.

lets try this? I think the photos loaded, I just realized the lower upload bar below is not working-
to add the body is yellower in the chest area. . I got three together in a lot at a toy show this weekend. and he was in the lot
also of note the base is marked with a no coo molded over. coo . but i think this may be common. on bases.
i have a few of those.
the only other clue I have it came with a great collection of late Jedi POTF stuff- and may also be a Canadian/French version ?? as in Minnesota we do see a lot of Kenner canadian cards .

hi,,,just curious if this is really the place where the coo was deleted (because there is two places where the coo can be located on a jabba)....though...can you make a shot from the whole bottom of the jabba (the area from the "tail" I dont need).


What I can say for sure: Its no Ledy, because of the arms and other significant hints!

Ledy has also more yellowish belly...but as I already said it has different arms, head and HK coo.....

I have a boxed canadian Jabba I have a look tonight - I am sure it will have HK COO but there's no harm in checking for you.

I noticed the belly is more yellower than the rest of the base. Is this a trick of the light or is the whole base the same colour?

Will I be able to get a check list of all the differences you spotted on th LL Jabba... I never released there were so many as I though they got their molds from HK

Its just the materials that are different mostly in color! Of course Ledy used a simple HK mold as on most their figurines!

I once posted them here....let us see if we find them again...

ah forget about that little mold difference on top of the bowle holder (grey) because it can appear on kenners too...dint know that before!!

the no coo jabba has a yellower belly- no trick of the light- it also seems to be of a different style of harder plastic.
the eyes appear similar to the LL a duller reddish color.

maybe a Ledy with no coo? as i said the Jabba base platform also has the blank coo area, Ill dig thru the ohter acc and see if any match the LL specifics. as well.
