my dad is a big collectors aswell of champagne caps

he tells me that its really big here in belgium and france

and he knows of me being on forums so now hes looking for some aswell

his collection has over 15000 caps all different once

and if even seen them with obama pics , so i was wondering

is this hobby totaly lost outside the two countries i mentioned

or are americans big in to collecting them aswell

if so let me know and iam pretty sure i can help you or someone you know fill in big gaps in your or there collections

if anybody know of forums on these let me know aswell

just thought i'd trow this in here

and if i get a chance i'l take a pic of his collection room

Thats the first I ever heard of anyone collecting the caps, Jimmy, so not sure if theres any collectors around here. Most I know rather have whats in the bottle instead of the caps.

yeah its pretty much an old folks hobby

strangly with over 15000 different ones the hobby still seems to be in its babys shoes

like i said ill take a pic the shit is impressive

do an ebay search and you will see there is a lot of offer to

plus there are books about it colecters guides

and so far ive only found french forums

My dad also collect champagne caps aswell.
He doesn't has such a large collector as your father, but he's doesn't buy them, he just collects by what's been given to him.

I think he's has about 150/200 different caps in his collection. I'll check with him if there are some forums he might know about.

Well i have never heard about that hobby here in Denmark . People collect all kind of stuff here like beer bottle caps and even vintage Star Wars toys
