Hey guys I wanted to see if you would find it fun to run a live auction in the chatroom. This would be totally legit, with real items selling for real money. We'd try it with a few MOC's.

I'd like to see how this goes. I doubt anything involved would be for me, but I'd probably bid anyway!

live bartering,wish i had an audio set up,trying to talk a deal typing suck's for me by the time i type one sentence eveyone has typed 10,i get thrown under a bus.
I do better at sales with talking,i can't type a deal for shit,usually a deal get's all outa hand especially trading fuk me.

Just answer some comments -

Dan - The auction will be only for bidding so there won't be a lot of banter. Everyone will also get a chance to bid. It won't be snipe situation and I would say we go "dark" in chat for like 5 seconds before saying sold in case anyone has a slower connection.

Jay/Andy - To respect timezone's Im thinking about 5pm EST. That gives us the best chance. The UK , Spain, Germany and Romania are bordering 11pm to midnght (i think) and the OZ guys should be up and about.

I will say that we allow absentee bidding only in the event that your timezone is outside reasonable. We'll figure that out if/when we get to this.
