I was looking at news app on my iPhone and saw that the director Ervin Kuchner ( sorry if i spelled the name wrong) passed away this saterday.

Very truly a sad day indeed.
We also lost Leslie Nelsen of Naked Gun and Airplane fame.

I heard today about Leslie but didn't know about Irvin - yes that's sad, two very talented gentlemen of films.

Sad to hear about Irvin Kershner RIP
For me personally The Empire Strikes Back was the greatest Star Wars Film ever made and a lot of that was down to Irvin Kershner if only Lucas allowed him to direct ROTJ as well.
I have to say i was a massive fan of Robocop 2 as well.
