i just bought a gg that i believe is a ledy , except

this one has another coo then the two versions mentioned in this thread

basicly the copyright logo , is a raise circle

and the body paint , thats supposed to be a darker variation of green , is a dark grey

COO guide for R2-D2: No. 4 and 5 are shared by Kenner and Lili Ledy.
In addition there is an unique COO no. 6 which was exclusively used for the Ledy R2-D2 (not yet indicated in the COO guide)


NOTE: In the pics below a Ledy R2-D2 was used having COO no. 5. In this COO the distance between "" and "G.M.F.G.I. 1977" is a bit larger compared to COO no. 4.
The comparisons were made with Kenner figures having COO no. 2 and COO no. 4. Two Kenner figures were included to show the differences among them (sticker, screw). But off course in this thread we focus on the unique differences between Kenner and Ledy.

DIFFERENCES:

Compared to the Kenner figure, the Ledy R2-D2 has:
- a flat head screw underneath  
- different details on the sticker (see pictures)

• FRONT: A smaller circle in the little blue square at the bottom
  
• FRONT: Four instead of five horizontal lines in the top grill circle in the middle panel
  
• BACK: Bigger circle touching the top and bottom borders of the little blue square at the bottom.
  

VARIATIONS:

Many differences for the Ledy R2-D2 has been observed with respect to:

COO

• COO no. 4: Hong Kong,  "" at close distance to "G.M.F.G.I. 1977"
  
• COO no. 5: Hong Kong,  "" at further distance to "G.M.F.G.I. 1977"
  
• COO no. 6: no Country of Origin,  "" at close distance to "G.M.F.G.I. 1978"
  

PLASTIC

• Hard plastic body (confirmed for COO no. 5)
  
• Soft plastic body (confirmed for all three COOs)

STICKER

• Type A: Row of small white rectangulars on the front panel
  
• Type B: Row of small blue rectangulars on the front panel, grey colored elements  
  
• Type C: Row of small blue rectangulars on the front panel, no grey colored elements

DOME

• Glossy chrome, light blue panels / eyes
  
• Glossy chrome dome, dark blue panels / eyes
  
• Dull chrome (silver) dome, faint blue panels / eyes

• No chrome on dome, light blue panels / eyes (factory error?)
  

In theory by combining the listed differences you would end up with many different Ledy R2-D2 variations. At present a full overview of existing combinations is lacking.  

To give you an idea what is possible, an example is given for three different Ledy R2s.

hi buddy are you asking if the ccp with the light yellow boots is ledy because they are nearly the same coo ?

if so as far as i know the ledy ccp does not have a unique coo to ledy

and i have never heard of a light yellow boots ccp ledy

Scott are they the same leg markings? They look like 5 & 6, no bright yellow gloves or boots therefore not Ledy??

It's a close one but I think there is a slight difference, but also there's a slight difference in both of mine to 5 & 6 in Wolfs guide.


I thought this was a bit odd that the bottom bit of the scar are pretty much identical.

I will leave that to the experts
But as far as i know the coo leg markings seems to be a little bit different.
and as far as i know the ledy has no light yellow boots.
