As many of you hopefully know, there is a podcast for vintage collecting that is produced by the Star Wars Collectors Archive. If you haven't ever listened, please give it a try...

I joined TIG and posted here because Steve (my cohost) and I wanted to make sure that people know that it is not a product of the RS empire. We mostly post our feedback threads on RS because that is what we know the best, but it is not our intention to appear too aligned with 'scum.

Anyway, I also wanted to ask if anyone wanted to be our "TIG Correspondent." Basically, you could keep us informed of any big news that breaks on these boards. As we mentioned on the November Cast, we were not too current on the wbobafett scandal and it was partly because of our TIG blind spot.

I'm sure most of us over here have listened to the 'Chive Cast. I think it is a sound idea to not align yourselves purely with RS.

As far as TIG is concerned, i think half our mod/admin team have already featured in previous 'Chive Casts in some way or other!!

& for those that haven't checked the 'Chive Casts, get listening now, they are surely the most relevant & current podcasts for us vintage collectors.

I personally am a big fan of the Chive Casts i really enjoy them and i think you guys are doing a great job I need to download the latest 2 so i can put them on my ipod for travelling to work.

Ill make sure any info we can help with or latest news that could be relevant is sent to podcast email.

I did send a PM a good while back when the U Grade issue was been discussed and im not sure if it got missed in the rush. My PM basically said it may be a cool idea if when discussing the U Grade that the debate is counter balanced with some of the success stories i.e all the people who gave up U Grading. Of course Bill was a big name who turned his back on U Grading (see the thread where he broke them out of the cases) but there a lot of other guys who stopped the practise as a result of TIG Forum U Grade Threads, RS U Grade Threads and especially Shawns U Grade Report Im sure lads like Craig, Coach etc would be more than happy to explain why the left the practise behind. Its one to consider if the U Grade issue is discussed again on a chive cast given the latest issue of the VC Jawa MOC destroyed for a U90 Label is one of the current hot topics on the issue.

On another note do you have any plans to discuss Palitoy Collecting on a future chive cast?
