| Hi lads,
Does anyone know what happened to the fake hardcopy thread on RS as it seems to have disappeared?
I tried an old link to it over on SWF & it now says "access denied."
Cheers,
Mark. |

| I guess its gone to the next stage and its been moved to a private section, as I know they were talking about legal matters they probably had the thread there to see if anyone else came forward to strengthen the case and now they are gonna go for it.
That would be my guess! |

| Cheers Joe! I thought that as well, they removed it as they've started legal proceedings & wanted to keep the developments out of the public eye. |

exactly my thoughts. I hadn't realised the thread had 'disappeared' It's probably a bigger scam than all the other scams I've heard about put together |

| I didn't notice it was gone either. That's interesting. It must be because they are wanting to keep things private.
Interesting...
I really, really hope for all parties involved, that they get some sort of resolution. The amounts of money involved that I was hearing are just incredible! But I think the autograph scandal going on now too will amount to a large sum of money as well.
2010 has been a bad year for the hobby as a whole. |

| I was thinking about the autograph scandal too ( I kinda benefited from it , with Coach doing me a good deal ) It's annoying/upsetting to think people may have been collecting autographs for years on a special piece ie. vintage poster only to have it ruined with a fake. |

Very true AJ. Can you imagine having a poster signed by a large number of the cast and crew, then sending it to this scam artist for a Ford, only to realize it's a fake?!?!?!??? That's like a dream piece totally tainted by one autograph! And Ford's aren't cheap either. And don't even get me started on the fake McQuarrie's! To fake a signature of a person suffering from Parkinson's disease and to think you can do it by just adding a few "squiggles" to your letters is lower than pond scum IMO! That takes some real balls to go there. |
