| Just ran across these stills from some ESB deleted scenes, the article is here : Empire cut scenes I honestly hadn't seen these before I guess I am late to the party but I had no idea that the proposed Wampa storyline actually got as closed to being half filmed I thought it was just rumour based on scripts (Wampas attacking the base, killing taun tauns etc) WAMPAAAAAAA WAMPAAAAAAAAA You can view some more here : http://starwarscutscenes.com/

| Nice link Joe! Did you know that Dash Rendar was fighting Wampas in Echo Base as well in the Shadows of the Empire game . The setting is directly taken from the unused ESB scene. Unused ESB sceneShadows of the Empire game (1996)Watch the entire scene here (Wampas at 2:50) |

| Haha thats a blast from the past! I do remember that game! I even remember thinking wow Wampas inside the base LOL I didn't think to link it to the film at that time though! I was only a kid playing this game though so probably didn't take much notice of what I was killing One things for sure - Graphics were shit back then |

| Talking of interesting story lines and video games, recently on the tv they showed the entire modern trilogy and as I hadn't sat through Revenge of the sith completely I decided to watch it, I quite enjoyed the movie and its good to be watching the true prequel to the OT that gives you all the back story on Vader, Yoda, the Emperor etc. Anyways, I had just installed the original force unleashed on my PC and the film got me motivated to try it, I didn't quite realise till firing it up that its set directly after ROTS which tied in with the film brilliantly. I don't like most EU stuff because I can't get to grips with all the tangents and weird story lines normally but the force unleashed told a quite convincing story + the time line helped loads. Very good computer game BTW- Don't remember fighting IG88 in that game - I think it was probably a game I traded after being bored of it, my favourite N64 games were Golden eye, wave racer , 1080 snowboarding , Mario 64 etc surprisingly not many SW titles ! |
