Here It's also on starwars.com so I'd call it official now. Changes or not, I'll be happy to see the movies at the cinema again as there is nothing quite like the experience of watching the films with other fans. |

| I'm pretty excited to see them in 3D. The added expense of the glasses always sucks, but I'm willing to make some sacrifices.
I wonder what this is going to do for the Blu-Ray release? Especially if he's going to "tinker" with the movies again. |

I would maybe see the OT... but not the PQs!!!!! All I have to say is Pod Race in 3D! That will be fun! Of course you'll get the same effect with the speeder bike chase in ROTJ. I watched the video on starwars.com. And I'm thinking the 3D thing will be more like Avatar. So it'll be 3D, but not like Captain Eo 3D. |

The prequels may not be the movies we were all hoping for, but the anticipation and seeing them with friends made them memorable to me. I hope they crank them out faster than one a year as mentioned on the RS thread. I would prefer say 2012 the prequel trilogy all 4 months a part and then 2013 the original trilogy to coincide with the 30th for ROTJ and CVI. That's what I'm hoping for. Star Wars in 3D should be expansive like Avatar and not pop in your face 3D. |

| 3D. Good news. Logos on the glasses anyone? I will be interested to see the newer films(yeh Pod Race!) but of course the original trilogy will be a real treat to experience in 3D cinema! imo Lucas can't help but keep the franchise going (SW= 3rd biggest movie franchise in history after James Bond and Harry Potter). A major Lucas SW related film production announced in the next five years? :stir: All good for the next generation and our hobby |

| This is great news and I am really looking forward to seeing all 6! I have my favourite epsiodes like everyone else but theres no reason why I can't enjoy them all with a couple of sly beers.
The UK press release mentioned the dogfight at the end of the ROTJ : "Return of the Return Of The Jedi: The final part of the series, the third instalment of the original series, will be among the most dramatic once it has been converted into 3D"
I wonder if Georgie-boy will tinker with this and perhaps make a more dramatic and intense fight with many more ships. It would be great if he brought the B-wings to life. |

| They rendered Clash of the Titans in 3d and the result was dissapointing to many and got much critique from the critiqs. Its a 2d movie they convertet and the 3d effect didnt live up to people axpecting to see the next avatar. Its now turning into a gimmick, if the movie wasnt filmed in 3d to begin with. Im not sending my hopes up |
