| There are some figures that you just see a lot of MOC for sale of and have to wonder if they were unpopular at the time!? Or figures that you look at and think, thats shite! (I am opening a can of worms now on 8D8 ) so what are your top peg warmers (the figures you would have left in Toys R us!) ? When I was a kid playing with vintage figures I had my favourites and some surprise favourites, of course 8D8 was a robot and therefore super cool, I never liked Dengar because I thought his backpack was rubbish (couldn't take it off him and when he was dead he used to roll around on it because he couldn't lay flat!) Yoda was too short to do anything but I stole his snake whenever possible for Indiana moments with Han solo I liked most of the goons from Jabbas palace and Stormtroopers were damn cool! Leia figures.. No thanks!

| I'd have to say hands down mine was Rancor Keeper. Sure he kept the Rancor in line, but as a figure he wasn't that cool. The hood was a joke and his weapon didn't inspire much with me. Some of the other generic characters didn't hold much value with me either like the Bespin Guards and Imperial Commander. However, if they had a helmet or were a cool alien, they were pretty cool in my book. |

| Rancor Keeper is a good one Chris, I lost the hood off mine and didn't like the fact that he was both fat AND bald ! Not very cool at all ! |

There will be some fat guy defending when James sees this thread |

| I didn't really have a choice on the figures I had as I was too little. But I do remember making a conscious decision at around 4/5 years old that the Ewoks that I had for christmas were the crappest figures ever!... they couldn't fit onto the speeder bikes or anything. They were just shite. Why did they make 8? Kenner could of made some really cool figures instead... I don't know! I remember using them as cannon fodder for my Scoutwalker and Speeder Bikes to crash into and sucessfully convincing my cousins to swap their droids & cool figures for them. I swapped teebo and chirpy for R2 and Stormtropper! he he |

| Luke X-wing. The only 1st 12 fig i never wanted. Just doesn't look like luke. Power Droid was also pretty crap & tended to die a lot. |

Good thing he is a second wave of 8 character Chris - Jar-Jar over a Rancor keeper And Craig - yet another Ewok hater The cartoon Ewoks suck & the Droids characters still don't appeal to me, the Last 17 characters were not childhood figures for me. So I don't care for them much either. |

| Here are some of my top "peg warmers" that never left the Vader and 3PO carrying case!!!
- Imperial Dignitary: Why play as a wrinkly old man that's NOT a Jedi/Sith? - 2-1B: My good guys never got hurt!!! - Max Rebo Band: Why play as a musician when you can be a soldier, bounty hunter, Jedi, etc? - Cloud Car Pilot: Never had a Cloud Car for him to pilot. - General Madine: What was he going to do with his magic wand against blaster fire? |

| Resurrection ! I like this thread Come to think of it there are a shit load of boring figures in the line, especially the ESB line, mostly fillers *from a kids point of view nothing really exciting! I like all the figures now tough I think each one still has a great sculpt, the aliens are bad ass and the human(oids) and main characters are all well represented and true to how they looked in the movie. Glad no-one picked a certain figure yet, kids love robots |

| I must admit Joe, i hated 8D8 and for that matter other droids, purely because they came with no weapons! |
