| HI all,
Someone on ebay is selling a long eyed tusken raider which he feels is a rarity like the hollow cheek ones. he says it might be rare thus the high price on hi item. Just today i got my tusken raider i bought and it is the spitting image of what he has. He claims this has been discussed here and other sites but i cant find anything so far.
does anyone have info on this...not that i would clap my hands if i got a rare variant but i am intrigued by this now.
thanks |

I am quite sure Carlos (llseeker) started a thread on Rebelscum about the long tube Tusken Raider, earlier this year.
I tried to dig it up with RS's new search function. Unsuccessfully.
Maybe someone has more luck.

Well done AJ! llseeker contributed but did not initiate the thread, so I remembered it wrongly. What keywords did you use to track this item back? |

What keywords did you use to track this item back? 'Tusken Raider'- that didn't work, 'eyes' - that didn't work, 'aussiejames'- too many options, bashed my head against the desk & then tried 'cheek' |

You entered "cheek" to get the "long eye" variant?
Oh boy, it might be tough to find threads back on RS this way.

| I have a short and long eye tube Tusken Raider sharing the same COO, it's IV.1a on Wolffs latest COO Guide, which is 3.0 for the Tusken Raider. |

| It's simple: the long tubes Tusken has longer tubes then others. It is a COO thing...not sure anymore which family goes with the long tubes, but it is simply a minor difference to the steel molds in one of the Asian factories.
The problem is that the Tusken molds got mixed up at one point. You can see that regarding the hollow tubes which is present on three (?) families... |
