| I wonder how long it will take for this trash to start to circulate widespread. He's calling it an ultra rare vintage Uzay in his description and then goes on to say it is a custom. So how the hell can he get off saying it's a rare vintage Uzay? This is bull shit. http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Vintage-Uzay-Trooper-White-Rifle-NICE-Rare-/250793159881?pt=AU_Action_Figures&hash=item3a646fecc9 Sorry if this is someone associated with TIG but I would hope not as they should know better than to sell this garbage. |

| SO this guy has pulled some shit before obviously... How do we root these things out to ID them as fakes? Don't want some other dishonest person picking these up and trying to pass them off as the real deal. I don't know enough about Bluestars to tell what would be a give away as a fake. Joe Y? John? Can you guys help out? The bullshit is his listing title: Star Wars Vintage Uzay Trooper & White Rifle NICE -RareThis just pisses me off. People have already bid on it. I wonder if they read the full description. They are probably hoping to get this and then try to shame someone else. |

| For what it's worth (probably not much), I emailed this guy with the following:
Hello. How can you list this as a Vintage UZAY Ultra Rare as your title listing and then go on to say that this is a custom fake? There is nothing vintage or rare about it. Your title is very misleading. Your listing caught my eye until I read the description. I think it should be renamed "Custom Repro UZAY - Not Vinatge".
Just my 2 cents to. Take it or leave it. |

| I've been watching this auction for a few days now and unfortunately I've seen many like this... and have many logged in a personal binder. Most of the ones I've seen mention that it is a custom in the main description but this one does not.. as a result some idiot who doesn't read the entire description might think otherwise. i'd like to think that most people who are even in the market for a Blue Stars would read the entire auction but they don't... all they see is a cheap price on a rare figure.
As far as looking for differences in a custom one: The main difference is the paint. This one particular is much lighter than a real Blue Stars. You can't tell by the photo but I can also guess that is has the coo/dates on the back of the leg since it's a repainted Snowtrooper whereas a real Uzay has no dates or markings. The footholes on the bottom of the feet are also round on Uzays as opposed to "hex" shape on Kenner figures.
You wouldn't believe the number of auctions I have logged over the years of "rare" figures that have fake, improper descriptions, missleading descriptions or just outright fraud that have cost collectors thousands of dollars over the years. |

| Pretty scary Steven. that's why for a figure like this I would only by from someone I know or buy from someone a friend can vouch for. |

This just pisses me off. People have already bid on it. I wonder if they read the full description. They are probably hoping to get this and then try to shame someone else. Yeah i have bought heaps of things off of him, only to find they came "complete" with repro weapons. I told him off and he started relisting a bit more descriptively, but you always have to read the fine print with this guy. He also once sold me something with paint touch ups. A big no-no in my book. again i told him off and was compensated. I have learned to read the fine print when it comes to regular sellers. Toltoyed ,used to be 00shaq00, i like and trust. he lists very well. (lol, it's not me, no doubt someone in here though) |

Who wants to buy one of my Rocket firing first shot, prototype, "J slot fetts", ? i have heaps of them! (lol)
Since were on the subject of fakes, is there a thread which difinativley answers if bib fortunma indeed came with a burgundy cloak, all my research suggests that there once was a prototype (as seen on card backs) but it never made it into production. I dont belive there ever once was a burgundy cloak, am i wrong? anyone care to educate/ clear up things?

| Yes Steve Toltoyed (Shaq) is a great seller. Red Coat Bib is purely pre production, Burgandy Bib is Lili Ledy (commonly faked) but does certainly exist. |
