Hi,

After a little hiatus from collecting I wanted to post a couple of things that I found that I thought were kind of interesting. The first thing I found was a figure stand with the first 12 figures, complete with weapons. One thing I noticed however, was the backing card was very different than the usual one that seems to have come with this stand. I am thinking that this card was a promotional card from something else that fit this, as the card is printed with "1977 20th century Fox" on it as opposed to anything Kenner. Any ideas?
    The other things I found were two poster boards that I picked up at an Antique store. These are very large and well made boards and the story I received from the store owner was this. He said that these posters were from the 1983 international premier of ROTJ. These would have been built up in such a way as to create a maize for the movie goers to walk through and put all together they would depict a scene from the movie, which in this case was the Ewok village. he said that there was a business here in town that made these specifically for Lucas Film in 83. According to him, Lucas Film had gone through and cleaned out some items that they didn't have room for and sent them back to the company. After many years in storage, the company closed its doors and they ended up in this antique store. I guess there were more of these with different pictures, but they had been cleaned out by that point.
    Anyways those are some of my newer purchases, I just wanted to share with everyone. Thanks!
