| What is the one favourite item you added to your collection in 2014?Was it a grail piece? An item long-missing from your collection? Someting to complete a run? A gift item or prize? Or just something that caught your eye at the time or a bargain you found? It doesn't have to be rare or expensive... Just show us your fave pick of 2014 and tell us why you were happy to add it. For me it was a boxed Glasslite X-Wing Fighter. I've always loved this version because of the unique colour and decals compared to other versions. It's also the first Brazilian item I've added to my collection so that makes it even more special. And it's dead minty

I've picked up a few nice pieces this year, loose figures, I've managed to not only finally acquire a Poch Luke Bespin, but upgrade him twice as well!!! The final one being a gift from Marco which was an amazing gesture and a welcome pick-me-up at a draining time, so cheers for that Marco But my top score of the year with out question was my first ever Luke Bespin MOC it's a total beater, but it's still an MOC and more to the point, one of the much harder Luke Bespin MOC's to find and with one of the much harder variants to find inside... the PBP Craramel Boots Luke.... and finally... it cost me £17.75 on ebay just 10 minutes after I sold a loose caramel boots Luke Bespin to Bobby Bobs for £17.50!!! Sorry Christian but you funded my score of the year

Nice stuff guys! As a beater MOC fan, I love that Luke (and that your ass isn't somewhere in the pic LOL) I really don't have a favorite item so I'm not sure what to put. The Headman seems like the easy choice but I'm going to say it's the Canadian Boba Fett MOC. It's in great shape, and way harder to find than the US version.

This is tough as there are so many things I got last year, but if I have to chose a item then this would be it. I found it at a local thrift store for dirt cheap but the main reason is as a kid it was the one game I had that I loved playing so finding it brought back lots of fond memories for me.

Without a doubt, my favorite of 2014 would have to be my Princesse Leia Organa 12 back MOC! I've wanted one for quite a while and finally pulled the trigger when this came up for auction!

I've had a great collecting year. Impossible to single out just one favourite. I completed my Toltoys NN offer cardback run, got quite a few precious gifts from some friends (you know who you are ) Ledy Fett Cardback was a treat, if I had to choose just one favourite purchase it would be this little aussie:

So many great finds this year. So love the Meccano Death Star Chic! And that X-Wing is beautiful Paul. My favorite purchase was probably this Canadian Imperial Stormtrooper (Hoth) Transitional. I love these "trannies" Sorry I didnt unwrap it.

I really enjoyed my collecting in 2014 and picked up a number of great pieces. But the highlight has to be the final vintage piece I bought this year to end with a bang, a Death Star with the "suitcase" style Kenner Canada box. It's freakin' huge! The trash monster is hiding in the Trash Compactor and I was gifted a Rope to complete it -- so many reasons for it to be memorable.

I've been picking my brains over the last few days and after toying between my loose Takara Vader or complete Hungarian Luke FB I decided to pick this purchase from March'14 R2-D2 (Lili Ledy 12") http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t6765p120-your-latest-vintage-purchases-volume-10 But sod it rules are meant to be broken and as I have two focus's, here's something from my paperwork collection which I know several people would love to get their grubby mitts on!!! The Empire Strikes Back - Bipod Ship (Meccano) Instruction Sheet http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t6765p525-your-latest-vintage-purchases-volume-10

Drool I'm semi retired from collecting, the items I want are now very expensive( Vlix, uzay bluestars, Droids 3P0) but I love all of the above! **(Mod edit)**I have recently retired from real work and will now use my Collecting knowledge to try to make a business. Not a plug just facts, so I hope the mods can leave me be for a while. Who knows I might just get my goodies down from the loft and show **Sorry - When you reach your 40 posts you can start a thread in the classifieds to sell your goodies **

| I've been thinking about this one for a while, as I have picked up so many variants in 2014, that i'm very fond of..... A Top Toys Vader MOC, a PBP fat lips Bossk, blobbed out coo PBP Vader, Blonde Leia Bespin, Poch dark red eyes IG88, both open and club hand , Hungarian Vader bootlegs, a Poch C3P0 (a personal gift from a good friend) Clipper mail away and my awesome secret santa gifts, to name just a few. Plus there are some new favourites still to arrive in the post, from last years purchases But I think my favourite purchase from 2014 has to be this dude My Top Toys loose Vader

Some outstanding pick ups this year guys, love the Meccano death Star, but that Glasslite X-wing is a peach For me it would usually be an easy choice as most of what I pick up is run of the mill production stuff, but this has been my most hectic pick up year ever with things coming in thicker & faster than my wallet could cope with, but I think it has to be this palitoy Emperor singe figure shipping case near full (only 2 missing) - & I know its one not 2, but this was a gift done for me by another member on one of the other forums & I was/am thrilled to bits with it -
