Hi folks,

Now I have introduced myself in the proper section (introduction) it's time for me to post my Lego custom models. I start with one of my favourite the Imperial Troop Transport by Kenner. This model appears on my website but I added two photos for you. Questions & comments are welcome  
(Mods : It's the first time I post so I hope size etc are ok, if not, please tell me.)

Superb work, Eric. You added some nice details to that Troop Transporter. Good to see a little cameo from Robby the Robot too

How long did it take to conceive and source all the parts, that you needed, to build it?

I don't remember how long exactly (2or3 days) but it was easy as I started to build it in my heads years before.
All the parts were in my stock so I didn't had place any order. BTW I try to build with parts I have "in hands" as I don't want to wait, excepted for some special projects that require some types of the same rare parts by dozens, of course.

Hum, don't what I will post next, something from Tatooine or Death Star?

A lot of vintage love went in to building that vehicle.

I can even imagine LEGO will releash their own modern version soon as this vehicle appeared in the Rebels animation series.
They know how to do it now.

Thanks, I'm always please to share with vintage lovers. I had in hands the Kenner toy many times in many conditions so the blueprint were in my mind when I built my Lego model and "vintage" was the prime idea.

The model from the new animated sucks... Really... Even compared to vehicle that appear in the serie, that's quite good. But Lego chose to make a budget model for some reason I don't understan and produce that ridiculous thing. Too bad but as long as I can build I don't really mind

You are completely right, what was LEGO thinking when making this out of the Imperial Troop Transport?
