Everyone

Just like the "I didn't know that until now" thread, TIG's software has a lot of features that we don't always know about. Sometimes we stumble into features, other times we get tips or learn for other sources.

As luck would have it, another forum chose Forumotion as it's software platform and have found a different way to post photos from a mobile device! It's incredibly simple and been right under our noses. We're going to post step by step tutorial on how to do it below. On a mobile device it's really a Godsend. However on a PC we'd still recommend using the uploader. The images become attachments to the post when using the mobile version, which eliminates quoting them but otherwise it's a very smart and easy way to post from your mobile. This has been a thorn in the side of forums.

I'm not sure who exactly figured this out, but major kudos to him. Having another vintage forum on the same platform will hopefully lead to more shared experiences and discoveries! Nicely done guys!

I'm gong to use the screenshots of this process to illustrate.

1) Below this dialogue box is a line with "Attach file"
2) Select "Choose file" and then select your image
3) Select "send" in that section (not the post)
4) If done correctly it'll be listed with option to add another
5) Once you're done hit "send" in the post and voila!!

Just to get ahead of a question we know will come, the photos don't appear in preview mode. You also can't post in between them (far as we know). But for most posting, this is awesome.

Enjoy!

Also, FYI we enabled Facebook for login purposes. Just go to your profile and connect your Facebook. Makes it's easier to login.

Thanks everyone!!
