Star Wars release, 1977.

Full set of original trilogy Chirashi movie posters added to page 1.

Those movie posters are fantastic. Congrats on completing the entire run.

These are the Japanese edition Star Wars Portfolio by Ralph McQuarrie put out by BANDAI I believe in 1978. There are the same number of prints as in the regular portfolio, but they are on more of a magazine type paper not the harder cardboard type. Here are a few shots of just some of them

Excellent additions Paul. I have to admit I do like artwork with Japanese text (the few Japanese vinyl records & cd's I have are among my favourites).

EDIT - I looked just now. There are 3 ROTJ ones with the red/black style. One is blank on the bottom and the other has Japanese letters in silver, like yours. There are 2 variants of that silver letter one. On the back on the lower edge is the theater info. I have one that is printed and one blank that can be sniped. Mine is printed on with a giant rubber stamp.

The other one you are missing is the other ROTJ style. I have 2 that have different theater info printed onto the flyer.

DEKAKESHI (デカ消し) :

Dekakeshi are larger sized Keshi erasers that were released by the Marukoshi company before Bandai's popular lines started being produced in the 1980's '

The most common way that these were obtained were from special "Lottery Tickets" hidden in a "blind bag" purchase of a small Keshi figure(s) . The lucky winner would be allowed to pick a Dekakeshi from the candy shop owner     .



C-3PO

This figure is 3 1/4 " tall and Unarticulated .







There is not a actual date stamped on this figure , but , it does have GMFGI on the back of the right leg and C-3PO on the back of the left leg .

The best I can gather at this point is that Dekakeshi Star Wars figures were produced/released between 1977 to 1980
