| D remaining coo is I believe the pbp version. Other coo looks like the small euro version, but not sure if any exact company put them out. Lee_m would be the better person to ask, or maybe Wolff or Javi. |

| does the first one have a foot mould circle? No exclusive PBP variant. But just like the Luke X-wing, AT-AT commander, tri fett.. it's a name that has stuck. Same as the second chewie- is the 'Ledy partner' often referred to as tri/pali chewy. |

| I feel a lot more comfortable calling a lot of these figures No Coo/Euro variant or PBP/Euro variant rather than just the PBP tag that gets stuck on a lot figures.
Even PBP 'exclusive' figures have been found in France and UK also, suggesting overstock being exported later on in the trilogo period. Same as Meccano figures - some can be found in the UK when France distributed trilogo Moc's.
It is an area i have been researching with mixed results to get a better understanding of the Euro variants and their distribution / where coo's were altered etc. etc...This is another whole discussion or guide so for now....
Many no coo figures were produced in Spain (which is where the PBP tag comes from and has stuck as James mentions) but were distributed around Europe so you can find them in many places.
The 'D' remaining Chewie coo im my experience can be found a lot in the UK so could have been on palitoy and/or trilogo cards. I've also found him in Spain also to a lesser degree so i would say PBP/EURO variant.
The other Chewie i would call No COO/Euro variant. He is not a spanish produced figure imo and can be found mostly in the UK from my experience.
Both these Chewie's are very common No Coo figures.
Hope this helps a bit Paul
Cheers, Lee |

I like Lee's subliminal message to get rid off the habit to connect certain COOs to licensees, as these connections are not exclusive most of the times (or maybe even never exclusive?). Take for instance the "unique" Ledy COOs (Biker Scout, Squid Head, Nien Nunb, etc.), even these were also found on Kenner (MIM) cards. So I would say no COO/Euro variant for the 2nd Chewie. |
