| Hi, When I was younger in the mid 1990's I used to go to these toy/collectable swap meets in Sydney and Canberra in Australia in the hope of picking up original star wars toys. Me and a mate used to go to them and it was great fun getting there not knowing what you will find, or the prices they would be. It was also before the internet, so we would sometimes be seeing pieces and learning about the existence of such items for the very first time! I still remember seeing Amanaman for the first time ever ... and hearing rumours/conjecture of a rocket firing bobafett! Great memories Anyway, I've been living/working in London England for the last 10 years now and wondering if these kind of toy fairs happen here in the U.K, or has it all just moved onto eBay now? Cheers, Jared. |

| Barry Potter Fairs hold one at Sandown Park, London a few times per year. Most traders deal in dicast & model railway, but whenever I've been there has always been a some dealers selling vintage SW. The next one is on Saturday 14th September. |

| I've found some decent bargains at UK car boots sales in the past, but now I think more people are clued up to collectables and listing things online. As AJ said it's slim pickings. But if your're persistent there may be some bargains still to be found. But good luck with the Farthest From if you get chance to go, seems to be growing in popularity for the UK. |

| Got to agree with Paul. Good Quality Vintage SW is extremely hard to come by on carboots but bargains are still out there to be had! |

| Thanks all for the suggestions. I'll give that Barry Potter one a try later in the year then.
Cheers, Jared. |
