I can't keep his avatars straight anymore!!!

It was an AT-AT, then Hullk, then a VW Beetle AT-AT, now an atom????

I like the current one, then again I liked Hulk as well !

to right lads its driving me nuts!! I cant settle on anything!

I tried to make a gif that rotated through my Luke MOC's pictures. I just edited all 5 pics to the right size and used a online gif maker but when i added the finished Gif Avatar to the forum its doesn't work and stays stuck on the first pic

That's God punishing you for craziness!!!!



Anyone want to place bets on to what his avatar will be next???

Gimp is a good program for avatars, I even found a step by step tutorial online that helped me make one and I am a noob

I was going to say he changes avatars more times than I change underwear. Too bad I missed the Vader lighting a cig with the saber and the atom one.

What i want to do is create an avatar that rotates 5 pics that i have saved ready any ideas?

try a little program called UnFREEze http://www.whitsoftdev.com/unfreez/

i do all my simple gifs in there and they work 100% of the time

lmk if it works

I gave you a tutorial link the other night for gimp in chat but you logged out before you saw it, perhaps its still in the archive somewhere.

Aye i got it Joe and installed it but it looked quite complicated tbh the settings reminded me of photoshop and i couldnt work out how to do it (i was kncackered at the time mind!)

do you mean you couldnt get the tool? ive just downloaded it, it works fine? can you get the zip file and open it

Did all that opened the program added the 5 pictures set the seconds loop saved the GIF but its doesnt work when i view the GIF in my Avatar

Odd, but nice.

Thats strange Jay, i presume the gif works when you view it in internet explorer? If it does i can only suggest that the size of the gif ie 90 x 90 is more than the forums max gif size limit.

Check in your Administrators control panel and check that your gif isnt either too larger in file size, or the image size isnt too big.

Other than that i cant really suggest why it doesnt work, maybe have to recreate the gif files in a different program.

Its definately the forum settings with the avatars mate, i can set an oversize gif as my avatar and it works but not animated, if i meet the criteria eg 100 x 140 the gif works fine and animates.

took me ages to crop down my gif to work in the avatar

I changed the Avatar settings to 150 x 220 which is the size of my pics i was using for my GIF and it still didnt work?

Any size settings you would recommend Andy?
