| I am gonna kick this thread off with the following - I just watched Paranormal Activity the other night. I downloaded the uncut version with the alternative (Original) ending (which is far more disturbing than the cinema release IMO!!) Got to say i really enjoyed it. My GF and Lodger both believe in Ghosts (I don't) and were absolutely terrified by this film. In fact Carl (my lodger) has slept with his bedroom light on for 2 nights now! Has anyone seen Inglorious Bastards by Quieten Tarrentino ? I plan on watching that this weekend. Jay |

| I watched that star trek movie on DVD ended up watching it twice as kinda messed it up the 1st time.
I must of caught the random button on the control so played the whole film out of sequence as crazy as it seems i really didnt notice for over 2 hours just thought it was 1 of those films that played the ending 1st then kept jumping to different characters perspectives of what was going on lol. Admitingly it did make a lot more sense the 2nd time around lol |

| Just picked up Terminator Salvation last night, looking forward to that one tonight. I also watched Star Trek a couple weekends ago. Checked out Where the Wild Things are in the theaters... totally lame. And just for your info Jay, Inglorious Basterds is a waste of time too. Brad Pitt really makes the movie, but he's hardly in it! |

Those were both great films. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. With all the Black Friday madness here in the states last week I picked up Zack and Miri Make a Porno for $4. I haven't seen it since the cinema, but thought it was hilarious. I'm hoping to watch it some time this week between unpacking boxes. |

| I watched Terminator Salvation last night. I was worried "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" TV Series would dilute my enjoyment of this film, but it didn't at all. I really enjoyed it!! |

| Checked out the Directors Cut for Terminator Salvation last night. And while I liked the movie as a whole, the directors cut was hardly worth it. Just some T&A shots of Moon Bloodgood, which really isn't worth me writing this. |

That's really funny as I watched it last night too. I only saw it once at the cinema, so the new stuff didn't jump out at me. I found this site those points out the differences to help me out. I thought it was a decent flick, but still enjoy the first 2 the most. |

I'm pleased to find out that it wasn't just some side boob. |

Yes, please let us know if it's any good. I'm looking forward to this movie quite a bit. I just hope it's not some hidden political message. That will be a big turn off for me. |

I hadn't even thought it could have a political message behind it, until this morning when someone said the same thing on the radio. The talk show I was listening to was going to interview James cameron and the hosts said they might ask him about it. Unfortunately, it was a few minutes after I got to work. |

To be honest from the clips i have seen part of it looks like an Xbox 360 game to me. You cant beat the models used in the OT! Getting ready now to go see it so ill let you know what i think without given away spoliers. Jay |

| Well we got to the cinema and was surprised to be told the press release will be shown in 3D which made all the difference for me.
If im honest guys i still don't know what to think of it ?
Pandora the world is off the charts crazy and the film is nearly 3 hours long.
What was interesting is my GF who HATES Sci Fi with a vengeance and cant sit still through a 2 hour film loved it! and so did my Sister who is 22 years old.
I definitely recommend seeing the film on the big screen in 3D when i got home i watched the sky film report that showed clips from the film and its no where near as impressive on a small screen in 2D.

Without spoiling anything did you notice any sort of political/social message Jay? Hard to say really Chris The main message is about looking after nature and conservation but Cameron will admit that himself. On refelection i think it was a prety good movie and would see it again |
