| Hey guys,
I just saw a baggie I have never seen before. This one is a Klaatu bagged in a plain baggie and it belongs to my friend Thomas from LG. Im in no way a baggie expert but I think its maybe time for a thread like this!
So far I know 2 different baggie styles which contain LL figures:
1. Labeled with "Kenner" and "Made in Mexico"
- Logray - Gamorrean Guard - Chief Chirpa - Leia Boushh - Squidhead - Nien Nunb
2. Plain baggie...nothing written on it:
- Bib Fortuna - Klaatu - Logray
Myth say the plain baggies were sold in the UK , by Woolworths in multipacks??? Can anyone confirm this??
Is there any more plain or MIM baggies known??
I think its pretty possible LL overstock was sent to UK packed in plain baggies.....isn't the only country were LL overstock was sent...though

| A while ago two Leia Boushh figures in printed MIM baggies were sold on ebay UK. I believe the seller was from Sweden. Did anyone here buy one? If so, could you post a pic.? |

| Is it known how & where the Kenner MIM Leia Boushh baggie was available? Unlike the other Kenner MIM baggie figures on the current list it was not available on a Kenner MIM card. Some sort of multipack? |

| Interesting thread! Regarding the Ledy Bib in baggy and a possibly linkage to the Woolworth multipacks: Page 49 of the LL thread: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t2135p720-the-lili-ledy-discussion-thread - Discobob83 wrote:

The staff must have the small circle, could you post some images?
Hey Ozio,
Wow that's cool. Thanks for the images.
Here is the Cape. I'm sure it won't be Lili Ledy (I don't know how I would have acquired it.) but it does look about right (to me at least.)
The staff one the right is the one I briefly thought might be Ledy because It's a darker grey than the standard (like the left one), but browner than the other dark greys (like the middle one) which based on what I've read is the colour the LL staff should be. I know it isn't LL though as it doesn't have the circular indent. Thought I'd take a pic anyway so you can see what I mean about the colour.
Best WIshes,

How werid is that!? I can't explaing how that got in my posession. Hey Jeremy, I'd guess your Bib (cape) was from a baggie similar to these: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t3170p15-help-identifying-a-bag-o-bib-fortuna 'I' owned two of these 'Ledy' Bibs from when I was a kid. I'm pretty certain mine came (baggied) from the "Palitoy/Woolworth" multipacks my Uncle bought my brother and I, along with a similar Logray & Lumat each & a few other figures. Back 2006ish? Marcus (blutch) & I compared them with his Ledy Bib from Mexico and IIRC they differed slightly. 'My' two Bibs (& your cape) seemed to be neater / better made, and the paint apps. on the figure were a little different (somehow?) – unfortunately I've lost the emails with the details comparing them. Back then we wondered if they were some sort of MIM variant (made specifically for distribution outside Mexico), or perhaps something to do with PBP, or just some weird better quality overstock ?????
Interesting piece!! |
