for myself and my two little girls (will be 12 and 10) to attend a Celebration! It's been a dream of mine and they want to go soooo bad. I can get good hotel rates, being a former member of the Army. But what do you think it would cost the three of us? That would be including maybe some autographs from their favorite characters, panels of some of their/our favorite people. We would probably eat 70% of our meals in our room (would have to have a kitchen).... but we would need a room with a kitchen, air-fare and tickets to the event itself.

TS, I completely understand the situation. It's all to real. If you have the hotel taken care of thats a big chunk of your cost. Your plane ride, if its available in your area look up Spirit Airlines. Checkout their website. You can get some crazy cheap fligths. Again, if available in your area. Convention tickets are not cheap read over all your options. at the least you get family passes.
