| forgive me if I'm an idiot LOL ... I knew the Han Solo figure was re issued as Indy and went from Brown eyes solo to blue eyes Indy ... but I didn't know Leia had an Eye color change bought the brown eyed leia due to cheap price I needed the hair donuts and shoes ... then a member on Scum had a 12 inch leia complete for only $25 so nabbed it ... since heck between shoes and donuts I'm sure to have had to pay about $10 per set ... well even the do is original with original rubberbands but then I noticed she looked different ... and poof side by side figured out what what was wrong LOL ... is this common??? I'll admit I'm new to the 12" line ... I know the very basics but just starting, so I hope I'm not sounding too much like a goober. |

| It looks like the hair is brown vs black as well? Are both figures from the same manufacturer? I'm pretty sure Chewy was made in at least 2 countries. Bruce W where are you? edit ( from stevemac's collection) HK COO, Korea COO & BASA |

| How did they do the lips so perfectly, but when it got to the eyes they slathered the blue paint on like they threw a drunken cat at it. |

that's the funny part ... the blue didn't look that bad until I used my macro lens on my camera, then it was like HOLY SMOKES... the lips werent' too great either but blend a bit better due to the red under them ... it looked factory painted with the naked eye ... but my camera and this lens will show the wood grain in a toothpick but she's a ok now ... no more custom paint ... ... no major damage from the clean up but did lose a bit of red on the lips near the tooth line ... but not enough to cry about ... I'm very lucky she came out as good as she did with having who knows what kind of paint on her |

BTW: to TIG! Thanks yeah I was happy it wasn't a harsher paint. I pulled out the old toothbrush I use to clean megos and was very careful .... my niece thought I was odd brushing leia's face ... but a nice combo of dial hand soap and Joy dish soap did the trick . I have no clue why someone would do that to a mint leia ... her hair is even original kind of messed up the one bun a bit but I seem to have it back in place good enough. I paid $30 total for her so even if the paint was damaged I could have pulled the buns out and gave my best to put the donuts on my other leia etc. and still be ahead. But luck saved me and this Leia |

| Oh yes you did LOL Rusco. Bloody Macro lense. Can turn and AFA 85 MOC into an 80 in a blink of an eye. I always hate taking pics of things up close. They always show more damage than what you can actually see with the naked eye a lot of the time. Makes tiny marks look HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE. |
