| Hi Guys,
i was looking at a few lukes and i was wondering if all 3 lines luke could be considered early birds?
i kinda know that this opens a can of worms but id like to have your opinions, i have seen a few examples and would like to know your opinions as to what it takes to be a real early bird Luke. I know i had discussed this before but would like to know more.
thanks |

| Considering there is more than one 3 line Luke & most if not all early bird baggies are 2 line, The answer is NO. A real early bird Luke is one that is still sealed in it's baggie |

A real early bird Luke is one that is still sealed in it's baggie Yes, that is very reasonable answer James. It's just that the way the seller is selling it is quite convincing. He said: the eyes and belt are brown instead of the usual black, the lightsaber has a U on it and i looked at the COO and for some reason it looks different than the 3 line coo i have seen on wolf's guide. i dont think the seller is trying to be deceptive, but i think there is a perception out there that all 3 lines are early birds like all dark blue r2 are early birds too... but is description seems to show some knowledge and seems legit.... I know, i know, only a baggie luke would be 100% legit but what the hell... what do you think? |

| I don't doubt it's an early release of the figure but I don't think you can attribute it to the early bird kit. Literally every baggie has a two line COO.
I asked this a while back on *ahem* another forum and baggie Luke examples were all 2 line

| does anyone have a pic of that Baggie or an early bird Coo? i just re-saw wolff's coo guide and it is quite confusing and as said there are many 3 lines COO with our dear Farmboy. Not obsessed with obtaining a EB Luke right now but just want to be informed as to what to look for. Plus the COO pic i posted does not seem to be on Wolff's guide...

| Have you tried reading this thread? http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t3786-the-official-fotw-thread-luke-skywalker-farmboy. As has been stated many times, particularly by Wolff himself, his V1 guide is not complete, so you can find COO's which are not on there. |
