The Leia is great. Interesting blaster that came with the figure. Do you know more about it? Why didn't that become the production blaster?

The blaster I have is a regular production blaster. The prototype blaster you are talking about was also auctioned off in that same 2004 Earth find and is in Chris Prince's collection. It is a very cool blaster. You can see a picture of it that I posted from the Earth photo on page 1. From what I know, at the time of the discovery, that blaster had never been seen before. I don't know the story more then that and unfortunately can't give any information why it did not become the final production version. I'd love to know too.

Hey guys.. First post here in a long time. Steve - Everything looks great!

Regarding the Leia blaster, you can see her holding one just like it on the Early Bird Display Header. Not sure if it has been seen in any other photos but I am researching. It is interesting because in the EB display photo you can see lots of extra plastic at the break point on the bottom of the gun handle, just like with mine. Makes me wonder if they are the same gun and how many they made. Definitely cool stuff.

Thanks Chris. Also, very interesting info about that blaster. Would be sweet if that is indeed your same blaster in that display header.

A lot of people have commented on that Leia proto blaster. It certainly is awesome. However it is not mine. It is in Chris Prince's collection with his first shot Leia. The blaster came from the same find as my EP Leia. My EP Leia has a production shiny cape and production blaster.

I constructed a simple but affective acid free paper stand to put the DSC on when in display. It protects the black paint on the boots, gloves and helmet from touching anything to preserve it as best as possible. I put a pic on page 1.

I just added this outer DT saber to my first shot Ben. I understand it is not a complete DT but it makes me extremely happy to see some of the true history restored in his arm. Thanks for looking : ) The outer DT has a "Q" and bump on the handle....
