Sorry guys, I have to say considering this site has basically ripped off TIG, can it not be promoted on this forum?

Jay put a lot of work into this site and his own money, we get some SWCC guys sign up and a week later suddenly they have their own site featuring the same software, chat box etc

If im honest with you guys when i saw what happened this morning i just wanted to delete both TIG sites.

To have someone sign up here then basically copy all your work from all the topic lay outs, platforms. chat boxes, the Lily Ledy Reference idea the development section basically everything is a real kick in the teeth.

TIG doesnt look like SWF or RS because months and months work went into setting up something new for vintage collectors that SWCC forum that has been set up is a carbon copy of this site.

Its not the name they have taken coach they have basically copied this whole forum set up from the platform used, live chat feature to all the topics even going as far as copying the development ideas LL reference sections etc.

I have no problem with people setting up there own forum at all but this is just a totally rip off of this site in pretty much every way.

As Joe said they signed up here a week ago got what they needed and copied it all over.

Don't think anyone will realise the similarities until their accounts are activated Emiel, I am very interested in seeing what the SWCC guys that signed up here in recent weeks have to say about the new site, so for the moment the topic can remain open so we can find out whats happened.

I am a little shocked to tell the truth..but I sort of understand how you maybe upset..
The SWCC guys would not of setup their site as comp for you..they were probably just sick of being on ebay I reckon..it has been years now!
I bet they have seen TIG and gone fuck it, why haven't we done this yet!
Now if you feel they have ripped off the layout etc that sucks not sure what to say there??? But search their threads guys..they had a lili ledy database thing going ages ago etc etc And seriously how many different layouts can there be in a SWF lol
The final point they are and always have been a closed house...they don't just let any old riff raff in there..except me of course
Anyway I am really sad about all this! As much as you now...especially if you feel like I and them, may have been just rubbing it in your face

Its not the lay outs Josh its all the topics and how everything is arranged anyway bro i know you'll make your own mind up on it when you log in over there mate.

Josh i have no problem with either yours or Emeils posts at all buddy your accounts weren't active at the time so you couldn't have seen how they have set the site up.

Like i said 3 months work of work plus went into this site to make it stand out and be unique thats why its not a carbon copy of SWF or RS.

The chat box is fine emiel as they have bought up the same platform that TIG uses so they are entitled to have that (although they clearly learnt about it from signing up here)

My biggest gripe is the fact that they have copied our structure, sections, topics, threads and ideas almost word for word.

And ill say it again lol im totally cool with both you and josh so dont either of you guys feel bad at all im glad the thread is here so the lads can make there own mind up and see it for what it is.
