| Italian & German Four Packs
The content for the German four packs is a bit slim (non existent) but the article is long overdue so I thought it would be something for you guys to read anyways even in its current form!
Feedback is welcome especially if it helps add to the site (German guys email me!! lol)

| Great article, I've not heard of those four packs before. Do you have any pictures of the tape damage on cardbacks removed from these packs? |

| Glad you enjoyed guys, would be nice to get some more pictures on to the page in the future (perhaps a gallery) but there's not too much info on these out there for collectors so there had to be quite a bit of text on this one! - cantina_patron wrote:

Lumat / Prune Face / Emperor / Teebo - All Trilogos Hey John, Thanks for the offer of your combinations For now though I am only going to add combinations that exist in double numbers to the site, about two years ago I had a really lengthy discussion with Christian on this very subject over on SWF, I argued the toss that *any* end of the line figure could have made it into a four pack (because one came up with the CCP removed and a Palitoy RC in its place and I thought it was all original) but after talking it out and looking at the ones that were out there, there actually is a pattern to the Italian four packs most of the time. I am always trying to make sure whatever goes on the site can be backed up in some form (miscards for example- I very rarely let any slip onto the site that are completely unheard of combinations just because 99% of the time legit ones repeat themselves and can be found again and again) I don't want to come across as though I am doubting your own four packs in any way shape or form so I hope you don't think that, if you can however show me a couple more examples of the same combinations I will be glad to add them to the site on the combo list |

| Appreciate your understanding John, really no harm meant!
While I personally (and I know not everyone feels the same) don't think AFA are the be all and end all of authentication, ultimately if you trust in the source of the items and the sellers reputation you can somewhat sleep easy (AFA graded or not)
(The obvious sceptics opinion would be that in the four pack you have with Emp,Teebo,Lumat..your CCP is missing and a prune face is replacing it..but obviously we as collectors can't make that call 100% for a number of reasons)
Joe Y being one of the sellers says a lot to me personally about the legitimacy of the other one and I would love to add BOTH your combinations to the site so please if you ever spot others the same as yours let me know!

I noted in your article that Lando occurs in these 4 packs. Would you be able to confirm whether this Kenner 77bk could have come from one as it has residue (still tacky) in a similar place to the CCP. If it helps the back of the card has similar residue on the left hand side. I purchased this as a 'normal' figure from a dealer about 16 years ago. [img] [/img] |

| Thank you Joe! I have wondered for a long time what the residue was from, as it doesn't look like a product of price sticker removal. |

| Hey no problem! It's not an amazing discovery but at least you know I had an Imperial Commander with tape marks in the same place on the front AND back. The tape mark came off completely with some simple Sainsburys polish and a cloth lol (I didn't do it..funny story lol) so if you really wanted to clean it up you could try if you have the balls I personally think its pretty cool once you know where the figure came from |

| Thanks for the tip. I have found lighter petrol also works well on most adhesives used on paper/card. For some reason I left this one alone, and will continue to do so as it now 'tells a story' even if the glue does devalue it .

| Very cool in my opinion if you decide to leave it as is The funny story with my Imperial Commander is..I got sent some pictures from a seller, noticed the adhesive mark and I asked for better pictures (I said at the time..is that a tape mark on the IC - could you provide better pictures?) Probably fearing it would cost him a sale he removed it with polish and sent me new pictures and a new email that said - Oh don't worry about that it cleaned up lovely LOL Never mind |

| I would imagine a lot of evidence for the cards that originally appeared on these 4 packs would have been lost that way. After all, how many collectors would be happy with glue residue on their moc's! Still, it's these little discoveries that help keep the hobby interesting. |

| Wow Joe you really struck a nerve (in a good way) in the community with that article in the sense that a lot of people didn't know those exist. Like I said in the email the other day, Top notch work!!! Oh and those are some great pics you got on there. Especially the Vader, Leia, Paploo, and Imp Commander... |
