Ok this is for the US guys. Im waiting on a package to come in from Fedex and just checked the tracking on this thing. I get a weird message saying

Local delivery restriction - Delivery not attempted

So what in the world does that mean? They stopped all deliveries because of the holiday this weekend? I never seen a message like this before and UPS just came by so I know its not my road. Im not in a rush for it, but just wondered what the message was all about. Strange that the dont try to deliver it since its only 50 miles away from the depot in Birmingham and they have delivered out here at 8pm before..

I think you should call them and ask.

Chris is looks like something is blocking the route. It could be a flood 10 miles away thats in the plotted route.

If you know the path from the depot to your house, maybe you know some sort of blockage in travel. The routes are so precise they might not deviate from it, even if it's a common sense workaround.

Thanks John, but as far as I know theres nothing blocking their route. UPS came through an hour before I posted this, so I know theres no road trouble. As I said, Im not in a rush for the stuff, it was at first scheduled for the 6th to be delivered. Then when I checked yesterday morning it said the 2nd. This is the first I ever seen that message come up and was wondering what it was all about. And I know its not a flood. We havent had a real good rain for over a month, the grass is about dead here.
