When my nephew gets a bit older i want to get into SW Lego with him. He is only 18 months at the moment so would just try and eat the stuff lol.

Didn't you do a Lego Star Destroyer recently Stu?

Also can you get a Lego Death Star?

Hiya Jay,

With the SW sets there are two main releases to look out for.

First is the Ultimate Collectors series (UCS) which is the real big, detailed models.
They include a Star Destroyer, Death Star, Falcon, Y-Wing, X-Wing, Tie Fighter and a few more.
They are awesome, expensive and only really fr display.

Then there are the other sets which come with the mini-figures.
There is a cracking Death Star as it comes with abut 24 figures. It's a joy to build and the
kids love playing with it. And yes, I completed the Star Destroyer recently which is also another great build.

Warning Jay, it gets addictive!!

Looking forward to seeing the new sets Josh. I remember when you posted pics a bit ago on SWF of your Legos and you have some excellent sets.

Here is a pic of the Death Star Jay. I would love to get this set, but I seem to remember it being around $500. I saw one in person at the Lego store next to Disneyland earlier this year and it is a sight to behold.

Wow that death star is something else! Pricey though.

Im gonna start with the smaller ships i think.

I take it they do classics like the x-wing, snowspeeder, Tie's etc?

The Y-wing, X-wing for about £20-£30 boxed with figures.
I'd recommend buying boxed sets to hold value mate.

I'd say about age was about two, but really keep an eye on them and make sure they don't
put bits in their mouth.

Got to say Jay, the X-wing is fucking cool mate.

Out of curiosity, what is the going rate for some of the original (EP1, etc.) Lego's worth?

I have quite a few that were released at midnight madness with the EP1 figures, and don't have any idea of value. Other than BT's of course.

Depends Chrisso. Good condition? still sealed?

On another note:

"I have just made a deal that will keep the Emperor out of here forever"

No, not really lol! but I have made a deal with a mate to buy all his Lego space stuff from when he was a kid...boxes and all. Pretty stoked to say the least.
I love that space lego and to be able to pick nearly all of it up in one hit is like a dream come true Smile
Oh yeah I promise I will post some pics SOON cheers

As far as I know, they are all in great shape (I haven't checked them out in awhile though). And yes, they are all still sealed. Some of the sets that I know I have are: Anakin's Podracer, Droid Fighter, Flash Speeder, Gungun sub, Mos Espa podrace, etc.

Josh, I wish I would've known you were into Lego's. I had a bunch of the space sets laying around that I sold at a garage sale!

Looks good Jay.

One of the few sets I have, is this X-Wing. It took me about the same amount of time to put together. I got it about 6 years ago for Christmas from the in-laws.
